Anyone who follows the archeology and various finds, as well as what happens in the future with the artifacts, should know that most of them disappear.
I don't really see the point in giving many examples, since this is almost every first artifact that is inconvenient for historians. For example, if we take from recent finds in Russia, then an example can be a stone of unknown purpose.
In short, they found it in Vologda, officially declared that the artifact was strange, and its purpose raises questions. After that, they sent me to the laboratory for research and all the information disappeared, it happened in 2016 (if I am not mistaken), to this day there is no news.
And this is a strange artifact from Novosibirsk, which also disappeared without a trace.
Well, as I said, there are hundreds, if not thousands of such examples. By the way, sometimes there are skulls in the "missing" finds. Some of the skulls, of course, are fakes, but there are also those whose origin is unknown to us. They are unlike any human or animal known to us. And some of them also disappeared after being sent to the so-called "detailed research".
Sometimes they do not completely disappear, they are simply left lying around in some museum and there are artifacts that do not fit into the history and capabilities of people of the past, for many decades.

Who needs it? In fact, the question is rather stupid, since it should be obvious to historians and possibly to the government. After all, it is better that people stay with the same information, do not learn anything new that can change their views on the whole world.

After all, if you look at the general picture of many hundreds of artifacts, structures and much more, everything becomes clear, at least the fact that the history known to everyone is certainly not “real”.
Obviously, some people have access to all the information, to all the finds and the like. But as you can see, this does not change anything and the "official history" is not going to introduce even the slightest adjustments in at least some parts of the history, not to mention the fully written history, like a fairy tale.
