And although the manuscript of Sibiu was found back in 1961, the mysterious tome still haunts various researchers, from historians to ufologists.

This unique handwritten manuscript was discovered by the scientist of the University of Bucharest Dou Toderiu in the vicinity of the Romanian city of Sibiu - hence the name of the mysterious artifact. Mysterious because this rather voluminous work of 450 pages contains texts and descriptions of all kinds of aircraft, including a ballistic missile, and even an article about fuel for it. Moreover, the design of the spacecraft described in Sibiu is so complex and similar to a modern rocket that scientists are puzzled - where does all this come from?

The fact is that the examination and comprehensive analysis of other historical data allowed scientists to establish that the Sibiu manuscript was published in 1556. Its author is a certain Konrad Haas, who was a famous military engineer at that time, who, as we see, was keen on other grandiose technical projects. Haas is of Austrian origin; he came to Romania together with the army of King Ferdinand I, in which he was in charge of the military arsenal. Konrad also describes in his manuscript military equipment of the 16th century, for example, artillery, but at the same time provides information on multistage, practically modern, space rockets. According to the researchers of the manuscript, a military specialist of even such a high level in the 16th century simply could not come up with a ballistic missile. And her drawings in the manuscript, nevertheless, are!

That is why serious passions still rage around this mysterious manuscript. Some consider the Sibiu manuscript to be a forgery, although scholars have examined the manuscript more than once, each time proving its authenticity. Others argue that Konrad Haas simply had a rich imagination, and therefore invented it all, that is, fantasized. However, coming up with a technique in 400 years, as it will appear in real life, is really something from the realm of fantasy. That is why ufologists put forward their theory, they say, aliens suggested these ideas to the engineer. For example, it is quite possible that they could take him to their ship and show him the technology of the future there.
