Russian scientist, a native of the Ryazan region, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky predicted what the state of humanity will be in 2017. Information about this appeared in the Ryazan Ecology group.

“The prediction, written before the 1917 revolution, was published in Tsiolkovsky's science fiction story Outside the Land, published in 1927. Chapter 34 of this story is called “The State of Humanity in 2017”. The scientist brilliantly predicted the creation of the UN! Here are his words: “There was one beginning throughout the world: a congress made up of elected representatives from all states. It has existed for more than 70 years and solved all questions concerning humanity. Wars were impossible. Misunderstandings between peoples were settled peacefully. The armies were very limited. Rather, they were armies of labor. The population, under fairly happy conditions, has tripled in the last hundred years. Trade, technology, art, agriculture achieved significant success … Mankind peacefully walked along the path of progress. However, the rapid population growth made all thinking people and rulers think,”wrote the author of the post, Ryazan environmental activist, Andrei Petrutsky.
