The robot dentist, created by Chinese developers, got to work and even performed the first operation on his own. The result was a new jaw - the robot gave the patient new teeth.

The software for the robot and the "dentist" itself had been made for about five years - it was necessary to exclude all possible mistakes, because the lives and health of patients were at stake. Nevertheless, the robot has proven itself very well, placing the implants with an error of 0.2 millimeters. In a word, he coped just as well as his flesh-and-blood colleagues.

The process was supervised by qualified surgeons and other medical workers, but the robot did not need their help - just an hour later, a resident of Xi'an was able to boast of a new smile.

There are a lot of people in China who need dental services, but there are not enough specialists for all. Even with the fact that teeth are now 3D printed, you still have to line up in a long queue to put them. Such robots can solve this problem. At least in part.
