Indian doctors ascertained the death of a living child and gave him to his parents in a package. This was reported on Saturday, December 2, by Sputnik International.

According to the newspaper, the incident took place in the Shalimar Ba area in the northwest of the capital city of Delhi. The woman gave birth to twins at Max Hospital. The doctors pronounced the death of the girl, and the boy, according to them, was in critical condition and needed a ventilator. The family could not pay the required amount, so they decided to go to another hospital. However, they did not have time to do this: the doctors said that the second child had also died.

The staff of the medical center gave the twins to the parents in plastic bags. With them, the family went to the crematorium and at some point noticed a stirring in one of the packages. It turned out that the boy was still alive, he was taken to the nearest hospital. Now his condition is assessed as stable.

The Ministry of Health began checking the incident. Max Hospital indicated that the children were given up without signs of life. At the same time, the clinic began its own check-up, and the doctor who stated the infant's death was sent on indefinite leave. The parents of the surviving infant are provided with all the necessary assistance.
