For many centuries, mankind has purposefully moved along the path of progress in scientific achievements. However, until now, nature does not get tired of surprising us with its numerous riddles, among which telekinesis takes a special place - the ability of a person to control physical objects with the help of thought. From time immemorial it was believed that such a phenomenon occurs with the help of otherworldly forces, and therefore most often this ability was attributed to witches, sorcerers and shamans. These assumptions have a certain basis, since there are indeed cases when during the ritual of the shaman small objects begin to rotate around him. But a similar phenomenon was described in the Bible, when Saint Paul and Silas, being prisoners of the dungeon, prayed, and suddenly the fetters of all the prisoners loosened, and the doors opened by themselves.
The ability to telekinesis is observed quite rarely, it can be developed with the help of special practices, but to move even a very small and light object, a person will have to expend maximum strength and energy. Basically, telekinesis manifests itself unconsciously and for a short time, in moments of strong emotional upsurge, most often during an outbreak of anger. It was in those years that there was a surge of increased attention to the sessions of spiritualism, and this allowed Home to fully demonstrate his unusual abilities, which he manifested from his very childhood. In his performances, Daniel Home amazed the audience with his talent as a clairvoyant and psychokinetic. In addition, witnesses to his abilities claimed that during Home's sessions, they heard strange music and saw objects that moved through the air. Also, this amazing person had the ability to levitate, which he demonstrated at a session where the French emperor Napoleon III was present. Home's famous contemporary scholars have notedthat this time they are indeed dealing with forces of nature unknown to science.
An ordinary Leningrad resident Ninel Kulagina (who died in 1990) also had more modest, but, nevertheless, unique abilities. As a young girl, she went to the front, after a serious injury, she underwent several operations, and it is possible that this factor played a decisive role in the development of her paranormal abilities. Ninel accidentally discovered that she could mentally move small objects. Scientists who tried to understand this phenomenon at first had high hopes on the presence of a special electrostatic field in a woman, but this assumption was not confirmed. It turned out that Kulagina acts on objects through strong ultrasonic waves, incomprehensibly emanating from her hands. In the experiments conducted with her, the woman changed the trajectory of the objects, left prints on photographic plates,and even controlled the work of the frog's heart from a distance. It is worth noting that such "miracles" were not always successful for Kulagina, and required huge energy expenditures, after which she had to recover for a long time, and in old age the ability to telekinesis completely disappeared.
