We have all heard and read about the "people-magnets" who are able to attract various objects made of metal, glass and plastic.
An 81-year-old Odessa pensioner discovered his abilities by accident. After reading in the press about a woman to whom various objects stick, I decided to try it myself. Happened.
- I put a spoon to my bare chest, then another, added a couple of forks - holding on! - said Alexander Sergeevich. - Only twelve spoons and the same number of forks stick at the same time. My wife, Alevtina Nikiforovna, as she saw this, almost fainted. Relatives came to see. My older brother tried to repeat it - it didn't work, neither did my wife.
Through experiments, Alexander Sergeevich determined that only part of his body - his chest - has magnetic qualities. It also turned out that the "man-magnet" can attract objects of absolutely different molecular structure: cast iron, aluminum, plastic, glass. The maximum weight that he could hold was 12 kilograms. To hold more mass in the house, there were simply no objects of suitable size.
- I can demonstrate, - says Alexander Sergeevich, taking off his shirt.
The "Magnet Man" walks up to the mirror and hooks on spoons and forks. Objects, as if ordered, "freeze" on the chest. Then he takes off the "service" and puts a cast-iron bar weighing six and a half kilograms to his chest - it is hard and inconvenient to hold such a bar in your hands. But the bar remains to be held on the chest of Alexander Sergeevich. Next to the bar, he places two irons, which are also held on the body and do not even "think" to fall. After iron, a variety of objects are already used: fountain pens, glasses, bottles, books.
- Literally everything sticks to me, - Alexander Sergeyevich smiles. - And the “sticking” process itself is absolutely painless. I only feel the weight.
To "keep fit", the retiree sometimes exercises. His spouse actively helps him in this. They are the same age. Together for 30 years. This is not the first marriage for everyone, there are children and grandchildren. Alevtina Nikiforovna is a native of the Urals. The war was a nurse. After the war she ended up in Kiev. Then - Lviv. There I met the “magnet man”. The Odessa citizen was then visiting Western Ukraine. Before that, he, like all his peers, fought at the front, then worked at enterprises of the defense complex, was engaged in trade union activities. Each of the spouses calls their meeting “fate”.
