Have you ever encountered unexplained phenomena in your own apartment? Let's say a thing has disappeared, which always lies in its place. You interrupt the whole house, but unsuccessfully - and after a few days you find it in the same place, as if it did not disappear!

Or, in the middle of the night, someone's footsteps and puffing are suddenly heard, although none of the household members walks through the rooms. Or a cup, which stood in the middle of the table, falls to the floor … You cannot find a logical justification for these events, and therefore there is only one thing left to think: the brownie is playing pranks. And, most likely, it is so.

Even in ancient times, people noticed that energetic creatures that do not have a full-fledged physical body, but are quite reasonable, often start up close to housing. The Slavs called them brownies or lodgers, and in their address they used respectful words: Master, Grandfather, Sam.

In the eyes of the people, the brownie looks like this: an old man of small stature, with a beard, sharp ears, long shaggy hair. The body is sometimes covered with white or gray hair. On the toes and hands there are rather long nails, almost claws.

But it is extremely difficult to see this creature, unless the brownie himself wished to appear. This happens in two cases - either before a good event or before a bad one. And then you can ask him: "For better or for better?" The brownie will answer in a deaf voice: "For worse!" or "Good luck!"

For reference

The brownie is an ancient spirit, some ethnographers consider it to be older than the personified gods.

The notions of the spirits of habitats similar to the domovoy appeared much earlier than the images of the gods that received proper names were created - as a result of the animation of the surrounding world. Among the Slavs, such house spirits were both good and evil - for example, ghouls, kikimors.

The brownie also has relatives abroad - British Brownies and Boggarts, Scottish Bogles, German Boglemans, American Boogeymen. These are all lower spirits living in people's neighbors, sometimes helping with the housework, and sometimes mischievous.

As a rule, these creatures try to be friends with humans, love pets, and can play with children. If everything is going well and well in the family, they will help - warn of danger, suggest the right decision through dreams or images that can be seen with peripheral vision.

But if the brownie finds himself in a family where dirty and lazy people live, and also where conflicts and quarrels often occur, there will be no trace of the kindness of the grandfather. Unlike a person, a brownie sees all the energy waste "scattered" around the apartment, gets dirty in it, because of this, his mood worsens, he begins to get angry, and that's when he "plays pranks", urging the inhabitants of the apartment to stop all strife, put things in order and live in peace.

As soon as households do not pay attention to indirect warnings, he goes on to direct: adults can, for example, pinch at night, and pull children by the hair.

Or hides some small things (keys, spoons, jewelry …). If you cannot find the missing item, then stand in the corner of the room and address the brownie: "Brownie, brownie, play and give it back." As a rule, after that, the loss is quickly found.

To calm a raging spirit, you need to appease it, for this, put a bowl of porridge and / or pour a little milk in a saucer, and put a small amount of goodies nearby - for example, sugar or honey.

And in general, do not forget to regularly feed the brownie - at least once a week, leave him some delicacy near the battery (or where pets cannot reach). At the same time, do not forget to say aloud: "This is for you, grandfather-neighbor." By the way, you can give your housekeeper a personal name. All uneaten delicacies are then given to pets or any animals on the street, birds. The porridge is cleaned in the morning, and the sweets are kept until the first day of the next month.

The task of the brownie is to maintain energy balance in living quarters, which is destroyed by human vices: anger, irritation, incontinence, despondency and any other negative feelings, thoughts and deeds. The more actively people spoil the atmosphere of their home, the more work the grandfather has, and the more the inhabitants will get from him.

Another way to improve your relationship with your grandfather is to have a cat. At first, they will compete for the right to drive out evil spirits, but after a while they will distribute responsibilities and begin to be friends.

Pay attention: sometimes your furry pet suddenly falls over on its back and starts waving its paws in the air. It's the brownie that tickles her. And it happens that a cat, which before that was calmly lying on the couch, suddenly starts up, jumps to the floor, stares into emptiness and looks, as if following someone with a glance. It is she who is watching her grandfather.

The brownie loves to play with various shiny things - beads, jewelry, buttons, coins. You can prepare such a gift for him by putting beautiful objects in an open box and putting them in a secret place with the words: “Grandpa is a neighbor! With all my heart I give, I give you!"

Observing all the "rules of communication" with the brownie, you will see that life begins to change! Relations with relatives are leveled, you feel better, more confident, calmer, and good luck replaces various troubles.

When moving to a new place, do not forget to bring your brownie with you. Leaving your old dwelling, on the threshold say: "My master, come with me." They carry him in a bag, where he is politely asked to climb. A coal or an awl is also placed there. The brownie won't go with you without an invitation. And will remain alone and abandoned. And with him, well-being in a new place is guaranteed to you.

If your apartment does not have a brownie at all (for example, you live in a new building), try to attract him. This does not require special rituals. Any of the family members should walk around the neighborhood near their house (or across the floors, if it is a high-rise building) and, near each building (each apartment), mentally or aloud address the housekeeper who may be living there: “Brownie, brownie, come to us home!.

It is better to start the call on the new moon and continue until the day of the first quarter of the moon, that is, you need to go for a walk for about seven days. Do not forget to take a bag with you, in which grandfather will "go" to a new place of residence.

Don't worry about where the brownie comes from. Having heard the call, the one who got the "bad" owners (quarrelsome, evil, untidy) will happily leave them and move to a more pleasant place - to you.

It is more difficult to attract a brownie if you have a dog, especially if it barks loudly, aggressive, restless. On the contrary, he is more likely to come if there is a cat in the apartment.

If you feel that the calls have not been successful, repeat your invitation after a month. "Your" brownie will definitely hear you!
