Many now use the term feminist. But, before you call a woman that, you need to understand what feminism is and what feminists are.
Somehow it so happened that the word feminist became at one time a worse curse than an anarchist. However, before scratching one size fits all, let's figure it out with feminism and its types.
The term itself goes back to the Latin femina - woman. This term is generally called the movement for giving women the same rights that men have: choice, career growth, and so on. In their extreme manifestations, supporters of this movement advocate getting rid of male dictatorship (or androcentrism) in all spheres of life. However, there are still no clear criteria, no consensus on the question of what is male dominance.

Liberal feminism is interested in the issues of gender equality, but further the paths of the supporters of this direction diverge: the less radical consider it sufficient to destroy those laws that restrict the rights of women, and the extreme ones believe that it is necessary to strengthen preferences towards women in order to compensate for centuries of inequality.
Radical feminism is also heterogeneous in its mass. The most radical of the radicals believe that only the fact that a woman bears and gives birth to a child already puts her in an unequal (or even lower) position in relation to a man, therefore, in response to Karamzin's "peasant women know how to love!" such feminists say: "and men should give birth!" Others believe that we women should give birth, but the attitude towards us should be different (at least as to the queens of nature).
Marxist feminism originated in the work of Engels - a collaborator of Karl Marx - who believed that inequality between men and women would be eliminated as soon as women were given the opportunity to work. Modern carriers of these ideas argue that if a woman is involved in raising children or running a household, she does not fully participate in the production of material values, but is employed in the production of people. For this work, like any other, you have to pay for the role of wife and mother. Others believe that a woman must work to be realized in society. However, the contradiction is that we, women, traditionally have to combine both housework and household burdens.
Psychoanalytic feminists reproach Freud for not finding a way to free a woman and her children from the tyranny of their father, so women can only speak out against humiliation and oppression (even if it turns out to be neuroses and psychoses).

Postmodern feminism believes that there is no single point of view on any issue, so no one, not even the most prominent women, has the right to speak on behalf of all other women.
There are also differentiating feminism and feminism of sexual differentiation. The first believes that different groups of women are used in different ways in society, the second argues that women's opinion about the world is not perceived as valuable as men's.
