Experts have restored the appearance of an ancient inhabitant of South America.
Brazilian experts have reconstructed the appearance of a person who lived on the territory of modern Brazil about 10 thousand years ago. The skull of a man, who was 40-50 years old, was found in the southeast of the country 50 years ago, according to the Mirror. Scientists gave him the name Apiuna. The remains of a man were found in the town of Lagoa Santa in one of the caves.
According to Brazilian researchers, the man had facial features close to those of modern American Indians.
According to scientists from Brazil, in ancient times there were at least two waves of mass migration. Apiuna was probably the first wave.
