Moon Caves can be colonized in the future. This became known from scientists working at the Research Institute at NASA.
Experts say that underground volcanoes often erupt on the Moon. The result of these processes is the formation of canyons, which can be called quite suitable for accommodating people. Since they are at great depths, scientists may still consider erecting buildings on the surface.
In this case, the key problem is the lack of ultraviolet radiation, thanks to which people could recharge the batteries. According to geophysicist Dave Blair, the conditions on the moon are much more suitable for colonization than on Mars. Since our satellite is relatively close to both the Earth and the Sun, people will be able to quickly get used to the temperature at the surface.
Interestingly, the Moon consists of a special soil that begins to change under the influence of temperature. For this reason, the satellite has a large number of depressions.
