The fact is that the growth of galactic radiation in the inner part of the solar system is 15-20%, which is primarily associated with a decrease in the activity of the solar magnetic field.
According to scientists, the increasing radiation hazard for humans and space equipment is becoming higher, and therefore it is necessary to re-assess the risks before embarking on a space journey.
Experts say that from 2014-2015 a period of minimum solar activity began, which will last until 2066.
It should be noted that in 2009 a new 11-year cycle of solar activity began. In the first four years of the Schwabe cycle, there is an increase in the number of sunspots, and then in the next seven years, their number decreases, and the Sun's magnetic field weakens.
