Video: The 4 Best Habits of Rich People | Brian Tracy 2024, May
Anonim

I have a good friend who has a vacation abroad several times a year, has a luxurious car, apartment, house, but always complains about the lack of money in her life and, as if to prove this, sometimes even borrows money from friends. Once I asked her to honestly answer the question: "Does she consider herself rich?" To which she, laughing loudly, answered me with a question: "What kind of rich am I if I borrow money?"

The paradox lies in the fact that she sincerely considers herself to be such a "middle peasant" whose business is "so-so", and even the presence of an impressive amount in bank accounts does not change her thinking or her perception of herself in any way.

And that's what I thought after talking to her. We all have completely different ideas about poverty: one considers himself poor because he has worn old worn-out shoes for several years in a row and does not get out of debt, and the other because the diamonds in the watch are not as big as they would like. This means that the “poverty-wealth” problem is hidden only in ourselves, in our own sense of ourselves in this world.

It follows from this that some people, and most of them, deliberately limit themselves in everything, since on a subconscious level they do not even admit the thought that they can live better. They, while professing the psychology of poverty, a priori will not be able to become rich.

So what is the meaning of the psychology of poverty?

There are four habits, four qualities that prevent a person from becoming rich, and not only financially, but also spiritually. So …

1. Surely you are familiar with this type of people, and I must say that there are a lot of them who are always unhappy with everything. Dissatisfaction for them is more than a habit, it is rather their way of thinking. They are dissatisfied with their fate - they were born in the wrong country, in the wrong city and to the wrong ones. They are not happy with the job where they receive a salary, which, by the way, they are also unhappy with. They foolishly think that most of the troubles that follow them, and their financial well-being depends precisely on external circumstances, i.e. from some people out there who "come up with all sorts of bad laws."

This is their biggest mistake. After all, it is much easier to find guilty people around than to search for shortcomings in yourself. Look inside yourself and understand that everything that happens to you depends only on yourself. You can be offended as much as you like, and make yourself a “victim” the same, but nothing will change from this.

Stop suffering and complaining - better take up your career and become a responsible master of your life.

From here the second point flows smoothly.

2. Inaction is the second “habit” that distinguishes rich from poor. Have you noticed that those people who scold everyone and are unhappy with everything, as a rule, are completely passive and inactive with regard to their own lives. They verbally “know very well” how to govern the country correctly, which ministers to remove and which not, how to build roads, how to treat people, how to stop inflation, but for some reason they don’t apply this knowledge in their lives. All they have is to discuss on a bench or in a smoking room the pressing problems of anyone, but not their own.

But it is not for nothing that the basic rule of life for rich people, which actually made them so, sounds like this: today you will be active and enterprising - tomorrow you will be rich. What do we have? Sloths motto - do the day after tomorrow what you can do shogon. Laziness and lazy people are not considered to be something out of the ordinary - quite a common occurrence. And meanwhile, if laziness is presented in the role of a mother, then her children will be hunger and theft. This is what we see in lazy people.

So where does the wealth come from then? Life is not quite a fairy tale, and there is hardly anything you can achieve in it lying on the stove. Yes, and in fairy tales, the main characters always have a clear mind, ingenuity, ingenuity, intuition.

So it can probably be argued that a passive attitude towards life is a direct consequence of poverty and poverty. Of course, for a poor lazy person, it is better to lie on the couch with a bottle of beer instead of opening a newspaper and looking at vacancies to look for additional work or more "bread" earnings. What does he think? “I have a job, albeit low-paid, but stable. What else will I change? And so it will do."

For some reason, these "sloths" believe that everyone around them should and should offer them a good job. And the salary, according to their theory, they MUST be such that there is enough for everything and it does not matter that the level of their education does not always reach the level corresponding to that salary.

And "by the pike's command" does not work, because in real life everything is much tougher - every man for himself. If you yourself have agreed to work for the offered salary, then there is no need to “cry” and blame all your troubles on the “niggardly boss”.

And offer such a "sloth" a good job with a decent income - he will find a lot of reasons for refusal. Because the fear of responsibility and big money will "win over", leaving everything as it was before.

3. The poor have their own economic psychology. Its peculiarity is that the rich, when they do not have enough money, decide to earn more, and the poor to spend less. The fact is that it is easier for them to be economical. And this is the key thought form that makes a person poor.

Where the rich thinks about how to increase his income, the poor man thinks about how to save money. Where the rich person puts all his efforts towards increasing income, the poor spends so much time and effort to compare prices when going to various stores and buy where it is cheaper. Also, a person with the psychology of a poor man is not too lazy to go to different authorities, collecting certificates, while achieving a negligible reduction in the same utility bills, where the difference is barely enough for one trip to the store, while these forces could be sent to find a second work (as an option).

To summarize, the rich spend their energy on raising funds, and the poor on keeping them.

4. Greed is another habit that accompanies poverty. Moreover, the saying about a stingy man who always has to pay twice does not frighten poor people. They are still gathered where “Sale” or “Discount” is written in large letters. And do not think that such a total economy is a sign of incredible wisdom. This is only an indicator that you have all the signs of an imbalance between expenses and income, but you have chosen the wrong approach to solving this problem.

I have a friend who is just a classic example of a person with the psychology of poverty. She lived in a very poor family, where the purchase of the most elementary was considered an event. At the age of 18, she left home and has been living alone for 15 years. And, although now everything is in order and has a certain income, she cannot, due to her long-term habit, go to the store and afford to buy a really expensive thing or go to dinner at an expensive restaurant or have an expensive massage in the salon. There is some kind of psychological frontier through which she cannot jump. Imagine, she still goes to the store and looks for the cheapest products and explain to her that she can eat several times better - it's useless.

This animal fear has been sitting in her since childhood - to be left without money and nothing can be done about it. And, as you know, sooner or later, what you are most afraid of will come to you. It's like in that joke when a man is on the bus and thinks to himself: “Lord, how hard it is for me! The wife is the last bastard, the boss is still a beast, the neighbors are all ugly, the children are scum who think only of themselves. And behind him is an angel sitting and quietly recording everything. And he himself thinks: “He has strange desires, and every day it’s the same thing, but if he asks…”.

So is my friend - fear so constrained her bright head that she does not dare to dream of anything, she just repeats like a madman: "there is no money." Maybe it's time to relax and enjoy life. Stop whining, or the angel will really think that she really wants it. Why create obstacles for yourself, and then overcome them with difficulty?

Let me show you the right way to check whether a greedy person is or not. With a 100% guarantee, you can identify a stingy person by how much he leaves for tea and does he leave at all? If not, be a stingy guy in front of you. Indeed, by the way we pay, we can determine what we declare about ourselves. If we leave nothing, then we declare the following - I am sorry to give money, because I myself do not have enough. And behind each of us sits an angel and writes …

So the next time, going to a cafe or restaurant, paying with a hairdresser or paying for any service, think hard and … think about the angel. You will return a hundredfold, because if you are generous to the world, then the world will reciprocate you.

In fact, there are many more qualities (habits) that get in the way of success. This is both low self-esteem and self-pity. And the fact that a person has been working all his life at the job that he simply hates, and the fact that sometimes people measure wealth only by the thickness of their wallet, without taking into account spirituality and morality.

In conclusion, I want you to understand how humiliating poverty is. Poverty is the degree of total insolvency, the degree of complete ruin in life. Therefore, if you find at least one of the four qualities in yourself, get rid of it urgently.

And remember - your well-being, and not only money, is in your hands.
