Several years ago, I fell very deeply in love with a man who was very wrong for me. I became obsessed with him from the very beginning and despite many warning signs and warning signals - but I felt what I had never felt before, so I closed my eyes to the bad.

Deep down, I knew something was wrong. I knew that I could not trust him, I knew that everything would end sadly. But I didn't want to admit it, it hurt to admit it.

And then, after a while, my inner voice told me: "I told you so." Everything I had anticipated and suspected turned out to be true, and this was the most painful break in my history.

Looking back, I am surprised how much time, energy and my heart I could save if I immediately listened to my intuition. And this happens to many of us.

How often do we doubt something, ask a friend for her opinion, and she tells us the uterus truth, which we ourselves suspect, but are afraid to admit … And in the end we deny it anyway, because we just don't want it to be true … We ask for advice only in order to do the opposite, in order to do it according to our heart, and not according to our mind.

In fact, the inner voice is a powerful tool in our lives, especially in relationships. Women have an advantage even more - female intuition. The main thing is to learn to listen to her. Think how much pain and frustration you could avoid if you always listened to your inner voice: "You deserve more, you don't need it."

But the voice of our ego is very loud: “Of course he loves you! He says that you are the most amazing girl he has met, so he really loves you! Our ego drowns out the inner voice of reason, and then our heart suffers from this.

Our subconscious stores a whole arsenal of information that our consciousness cannot always explain. For example, when we just meet a person, and we immediately like him. Or vice versa - he seems cute, but for some reason you can't stand him. This is the work of the subconscious. Sometimes these people remind us of someone from the past.

We perceive many things subconsciously and react in ways we cannot explain.

The bottom line is, more often than not, you already know the answer. The problem is that you would like him to be different, and instead of accepting him, you assume a rational approach - the obvious.

Our thoughts and feelings have the power and ability to protect us, but it all depends on us - whether we listen to them.

As scientists confirm, our emotions come from the subconscious, which means they reflect more information than our conscious mind. That is, intuition saves us from unnecessary pain.

Here are some tips on how to hear your inner voice:

1. Ask yourself a question and listen to the inner answer. Just the first thing that comes to mind. This is the answer, and then the excuses begin.

2. Make a decision and listen to your body. If this is not correct, you will feel resistance, usually a sensation in the abdomen.

3. Ask a friend. A very useful view from the outside, because after all, often we take wishful thinking. Ask a friend for objective advice.

4. Be conscientious. In the sense that try to evaluate everything equally, listening to your intuition and feelings. Time alone helps in this - meditation, yoga, journaling, walking. Try to do this regularly and in all aspects of your life.
