A popular online reference resource says that noise comes in a variety of colors. Most often we hear the phrase white noise. It turns out there is also pink and brown.

In order not to tire the reader with complex and obscure terms, I will try to explain this concept in my own words. As far as I understood from the description, white noise is a monotonous sound at one frequency, in which all waves are of the same length and intensity. As they say, correct me, physicists, if I'm wrong.

As a common example, everyone cites the noise of a waterfall falling next to a person. And if the water falls far away, this is already pink noise. That is, the sound waves will be unequal in frequency and length.

Brown or red noise sounds warm to the ear as opposed to cool white noise. What to compare with to make it clear? With the sound of the surf, for example.

Thus, we can hear all three types of noises almost every day. Tune the receiver to an empty wavelength and there it is - white. Move a long distance from a waterfall or dam and enjoy the pink tones. Sitting by the sea, immerse your mind in the brown sounds of the waves.

Noises heal, help to concentrate and tune in a certain way. But for some reason, it is white noise that causes the most questions in people. Many mysterious, mystical, sometimes scary stories are associated with it. When we listen to the monotonous sounds, we see otherworldly voices, and messages from another world make their way through the radio interference. In fact, each of the above noises affects the human brain in its own way. Not only the white sound can be used for various practices.

So, with the help of monotonous white noise, it is easy to concentrate on the problem, it is good to read under it, learn poetry. In short, do everything that requires extreme concentration and mental effort.

Pink vibes are a mixture of low and high frequencies. It helps to soothe naughty nerves, relieve tension and stress. Pink noise helps to relax the body and mind. It is easy to meditate under it, to enter into a state of altered consciousness.

Low frequency brown vibrations will help you fall asleep, soothe naughty children and animals.

The color and frequency range available to humans is not that great. Unlike animals, we do not perceive ultrasound, and dogs, for example, hear it perfectly. Special scarers for animals are based on this feature of perception.

But we don't hear, it doesn't mean that we don't feel. Even though the human ear is not able to pick up ultrasound at the level of normal hearing, the body still reacts. In especially sensitive natures, this tonality can cause attacks of panic and fear. There are no external reasons to worry, and the person feels, to put it mildly, uncomfortable.

By the way, remember the legend about the city of Jericho, and about the trumpets, from the sound of which its walls fell. Scientists believe the ancient city was attacked by ultrasound. Used correctly, this weapon can crush stones.

But back to white noise, hearing it is so easy. If you concentrate, then in the usual hiss from the speaker, you can hear extraneous inclusions. Skeptics say we are dealing with auditory hallucinations. In their opinion, the brain falls into a stupor if you listen to white noise for a long time. The mind concentrates on itself, and the person is simply engaged in self-hypnosis. In such a state, they argue, anything can be imagined.

Those who, with their ears, have repeatedly heard intelligible words, easily distinguishable against the background of a stream of white sound, do not agree with this theory. Experienced astral travelers say that these are the sounds of the other world. Not everyone is given to hear them, but if you listen to the air with intense intensity, you will achieve a lasting result.

I will not say that my personal experience in this area is rich and worthy of a separate article. But one day I decided to put experience on myself. Before going to bed, I turned on white noise in the headphones and prepared to fall asleep. At first nothing happened. The monotonous hiss in my ears began to lull. But suddenly it seemed to me that through him, as through a veil of rain, distant voices became distinguishable. I focused, let go of emotions, stopped the internal dialogue. The voices sounded louder and clearer. I won't lie, I couldn't make out the words. It couldn't be called Elvish or any other real or fictional language. No matter how hard I strained my inner ear and did not try to translate, nothing happened. The voices remained beyond comprehension. As if you hear a completely unfamiliar dialect or a dead language. I think such a comparison will be clear to the reader. After all, even if we hear an unknown dialect, we still identify it. Not knowing English or French, we easily understand what is being spoken in it.

Other extraneous sounds began to weave into the voices. I approximately recognized them. It seemed to me that this is exactly how the song of the solar wind sounds or the Universe breathes.

I don't remember how much time has passed since the strange voices and sounds appeared on my air, whether it was minutes or hours. I don't even remember at what moment I fell asleep abruptly, which happens to me extremely rarely.

In the morning, what I heard left a strange impression, like a dream, the details of which you don't remember, but you know that it was kind, beautiful and pleasant.

On the same night, it was decided to repeat the experiment. And what was my surprise that the result was exactly the opposite. In the even hum, I heard not the lulling sounds of the Cosmos and not the "elven tunes", but menacing growls, howls, and terrible howls of unseen creatures. There were also voices, but they were not very friendly. It seemed that some force was opposing my appearance in the area of the white noise. With some difficulty I broke free from my stupor and pulled out and turned off the soundtrack. My heart was pounding, sweat beaded on my forehead, and there was not enough air in my chest. The classic picture of a panic attack.

Frankly, there were also experiments with noise, with different results and visions. I found out - these are not hallucinations generated by an inflamed mind. By tuning in to the desired frequency, we can receive signals from the universe.
