Astronomers have discovered a giant gaping hole on the surface of the sun, which has provoked rumors about some alien inhabitants of the star.
According to DailyStar, the grayscale footage captures a huge pit in the sun's surface. There you can also see how the gases of the star's atmosphere move away from the hole.
This amazing video was found by a YouTube channel called The Grimreefar and has already been viewed over 1,000 times since the video was uploaded on Friday 16 November.
“I've heard of holes opening in the upper atmosphere of the sun, but not in the sun itself,” the narrator tells Disclose.
The video also fueled rumors about aliens possibly living in the sun, with one commentator commented: “Who knows what evil lurks in the depths of space? I think if the people of Earth knew what was happening in and around our Sun, they would have serious heart attacks.”
“This is the liberation of the children of the Sun,” suggested another.
Many viewers hailed the video as an “incredible find,” and one of them emphasized that “this hole is several times larger than Earth.”
