Researchers have modeled a situation that could occur if the Earth moves noticeably slower than it is now, or even stops. As it turned out, if such a scenario develops, humanity will not survive.
According to the authors of the study, the consequences of this will be catastrophic for all life on the planet. Firstly, if the Earth stops, there will be only two global oceans on our planet - one at the South Pole, the other at the North.
Moreover, the researchers are sure that after stopping our planet, everything on it with a tremendous speed of 1.3 thousand kilometers will rush to the east and concentrate on the poles of the Earth, forming a powerful tsunami.
At the same time, the atmosphere will not stop rotating, and the resulting hurricane, according to REN TV, will become the guiding force for the tsunami.
At this moment, the real end of the world will come, which will be accompanied by constant volcanic eruptions. Researchers predict that in this case the shape of our planet will become absolutely round, and the weather in one hemisphere will be constantly hot, and in the other - always cold.
