The researchers found that powerful holes are formed in the magnetic field of our planet, which indicate that the Earth's magnetic poles will soon swap places. There are suggestions that as a result of this, it is possible to expect new natural disasters on a global scale, like the Flood and the Last Judgment.
This conclusion was made by experts from the Danish Center for Planetary Research. This conclusion was supported by their colleagues from the University of Leeds (Great Britain) and the French Institute of Physics of the Earth, as well as American scientists from Florida International University in Miami.
According to the researchers, over the past century, the density of the Earth's magnetic field has significantly decreased. The impact of this in 1989 was felt by the people of eastern Canada. Solar winds broke through a weak magnetic shield and caused severe breakdowns in electrical grids, leaving Quebec without electricity for nine hours.
It is believed that the Earth's magnetic field is generated by streams of molten iron that surrounds the core of our planet. The Danish space satellite found eddies in these currents (in the Arctic and South Atlantic regions), which are capable of causing them to change their direction of movement. But many experts believe that this, fortunately, will not happen in the near future.
And yet, if the forecast comes true, the consequences could be catastrophic. Powerful streams of solar radiation, which cannot now reach the atmosphere due to the magnetic field, will heat its upper layers and cause global climate changes. Now the external "magnetic shield" of the Earth protects all living things from solar radiation. Without it, solar wind and plasma from solar flares can reach the upper atmosphere, heating it up and causing catastrophic climate change.
In other words, when the poles change, there will be a sharp weakening of the magnetic field: this will lead to an abrupt increase in the level of solar radiation. Cosmic rays will destroy all living things or cause mutations. All electrical, navigation and communication devices and satellites in earth orbit will be out of order. Migrating animals, birds and insects lose their ability to orientate. Moreover, it is impossible to calculate in advance where the land will be and where the sea is.
However, when the magnetic poles on the Sun changed in March 2001, the disappearance of the magnetic field was not recorded. The sun changes its magnetic poles every 22 years. On our planet, such stresses occur much less frequently, but they still occur. It is likely that cataclysms in the biosphere of the planet, when from 50 to 90% of its fauna disappeared, are connected precisely with the change of the Earth's poles. The researchers noted that it was the disappearance of the magnetic field that led to the evaporation of the atmosphere on Mars.
The origin of the Earth's magnetic field remains a mystery today, although there are many hypotheses to explain this phenomenon. The magnetic field that exists on the earth's surface is the total field. It is formed due to a number of sources: currents crossing the surface of the planet, the so-called vortex field; external, cosmic sources not related to the Earth, and, finally, the magnetic field caused by the causes of the internal dynamics of our planet.

True, some of the scientists believe that these changes took place within a very short time. If the change of the Earth's poles were extended for a long period, they say, then life on the planet during these intervals would be destroyed by solar radiation, which would freely penetrate into the atmosphere and reach its surface, because there are no barriers for the solar wind, except for the magnetic field.
