One of the most unexplained anomalous zones is considered the Heizhu Valley in southern China. Literally the name of this place is translated as “Black Bamboo Hollow”. In the north of Kenya there is a small island, Envaitenet, the name of which, translated from the language of the tribe that lives in these parts, means "irrevocable". The archives of the local police contain cases of the disappearance of dozens of people who simply left their homes, and no one else saw them. And in 1936 an ethnographic expedition of two scientists went to the island. A few days later, contact with her was lost, and they disappeared without a trace.
Secrets of the Russian outskirts
Russia has its own "Bermuda Triangle", which is located on the border of the Perm Territory and the Sverdlovsk Region - the Molebsky Triangle, which was investigated in 1995 by the scientist Valery Yakimov. His group recorded some atmospheric phenomena and strange glow, which they qualified as UFOs. In the 90s, the ufologist Maxim Shishkin described in detail the disappearances of several groups of tourists in the area.
Near the village of Lyada in the Pskov region is the Devil's ravine, where about a hundred people have gone missing. The lucky ones who managed to survive, for inexplicable reasons, could not remember anything, often losing not only memory, but also reason. The most notorious cases occurred in 1928, when a group of lumberjacks went missing, in 1931 several dozen kulaks disappeared without a trace along with their families, and in 1974 - a group of mushroom pickers from the Northern capital.
