There are many stories of aliens and UFOs in the United States, but few Americans can boast that they have seen aliens in the immediate vicinity. One of them is Jeff Greenhow from Alabama. In 1973, he was 26 years old, he was the chief of police for a town called Folkville. On October 17 this year, late at night, he received a call from an agitated local woman. The panicked woman explained that she had seen the alien ship land in the field.
The sheriff decided that he was being played or that the applicant was simply not herself, but should have responded to the challenge. He went to the very field where the UFO was seen and began to examine for the presence of suspicious objects. In the end, he never found anything, and after a while he decides to go home, when on the way back he noticed a strange figure on the side of the road. Getting out of the car, he went to her and as he approached, he began to examine the appearance of a humanoid creature.
It stood motionless, dressed in a suit made of a material resembling thick foil. The newcomer did not react in any way to the policeman and seemed to be waiting for some order. The policeman asked the creature several times who or what it was, but did not receive any reaction. His attention was also drawn to a small antenna on the alien's head.
It looked like he was getting some commands through her. Realizing that he had witnessed an alien invasion, Greenhow ran to the car for the camera and began to take pictures of the alien in a hurry. Suddenly, he began to run across the field with superhuman speed. The sheriff rushed after him in a car, but even in an SUV he could not overtake the strange creature.
The next day, the policeman told about everything to his colleagues, but was ridiculed by them for his "tales". After meeting with the alien, the man's career and in general, his life went downhill. He lost his job, his wife left him because he stubbornly continued to prove what he saw that autumn evening. Skeptics believe that Greenhow invented this story from start to finish, but no one can explain why the American ruined his own life.
