She was then six years old, that evening she was naughty in earnest and therefore did not want to go to bed. Her two older sisters ran after her around the house, trying to catch and calm her, and the little girl, laughing, ran away from them, jumped on the bed and sofa, trying in every possible way to escape from the hands of those who caught her. And suddenly … she saw a terrible face outside the window, vaguely similar to the face of a burnt monkey (it was this association that remained in her memory).
The terrible face was no more than half a meter from her, or even closer. Moreover, it also looked at the girl with surprise. And when the six-year-old baby screamed wildly with fear, it seemed that there was panic and screaming outside the window too, though nothing was heard.
The woman recalls that she seemed to be looking into another world, and from there they looked at her too, and this "monkey", it seems, was also a small child, which is why she was also very scared when she saw … a man in her window.
True, the adults, and the older sisters who caught the baby, did not notice anything like that. And when the girl told them about the reason for her heart-rending cry, the older brothers even ran out into the street, but did not find any extraneous traces there, not to mention the presence of a monkey or some kind of joker who dressed up in her.
