A group of French researchers managed to narrow the search for the ninth planet of our solar system. Astronomers report that they have almost succeeded in locating the location of Planet X. The results of the study are published in the form of a report in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Recall that at the beginning of 2016, scientists from the United States made a statement about the discovery of Planet X, which "hid" behind Neptune, but its exact location at that time was impossible to determine. It is only known that this planet has a mass ten times the earth's. The ninth planet is the missing link in the structure of the solar system.
French space explorers suggested that the planet is located at a huge distance from ours, therefore it can orbit for twenty thousand years. Researchers from an observatory in Paris, using mathematical calculations, excluded two zones in which there is no point in searching. This discovery cuts search space by 50%.
