Former popular American baseball player Jose Canseco tweeted on January 30, 2019 with several strange posts about aliens and time travel, which caused a lot of attention from his fans and ufologists.
Given that Canseco was previously completely uninterested in this topic, and his messages were far from humorous, some ufologists concluded that the baseball player learned or experienced something paranormal, possibly an alien abduction.
