Residents of the urban-type settlement of Ola, just before dawn, woke up from a loud bang in the sky. Looking out into the street, people saw a cloud of a strange curved shape. It turned out to be quite stable and only dissipated closer to dinner.
According to several eyewitnesses, who by chance saw what happened, the strange formation arose after the explosion of a celestial body moving at high speed in the atmosphere. Before that, separate pieces fell off from the unknown object, it literally disintegrated into parts, so some villagers got the impression that they were watching the crash of an airplane or a spacecraft that went out of orbit.
Disputes have already flared up about what happened. Astronomers say that the inhabitants of the Magadan region saw the entry of a comet or an asteroid into the Earth's atmosphere - a remarkable phenomenon, but not so rare.
Ufologists dispute the opinion of representatives of academic science, not excluding the possibility that we can talk about the death of an unidentified flying object. Experts see the most weighty proof of this version in the form of a strange cloud hovering over the village, which resembled a trail of fuel burned in the air.
Which version has a greater right to exist is still unknown. To establish the truth, it is necessary to find the place where the debris of the mysterious object fell and study them. Unfortunately, judging by the flight trajectory, they fell in sparsely populated, inaccessible areas of the region, so finding them seems to be extremely difficult.
