The reason for the shocking discovery was a banal cough. A year and a half ago, my good friend Andrey Shkolin caught a cold. Although he is registered in Tomsk, he spends most of his time in Moscow and traveling around the country. Andrey is a writer, poet, composer, popular singer. Edits expensive magazine "Chanson". His wife Olga sent him to a Moscow polyclinic. After the X-ray, the doctors told Shkolin with horror: “You have a healthy nail without a cap next to the fifth thoracic vertebra! Did you fall on your back at a construction site?.."
Andrey called me and asked if it was possible to conduct a more detailed study in Tomsk. Hinting that I'm used to doing all sorts of anomalous "devilry". The fact is that at the construction site he did not fall, did not receive injuries, he never had any operations. I answered in the affirmative. At the beginning of last year, Shkolin arrived in Tomsk. … In the TN 5-TH6 projection, a foreign body is revealed - a screw up to 3.7 cm long, up to 0.65 cm wide, without a cap on the back surface. The tip of the screw is directed anteriorly to the anterior part of the body … It is not possible to judge the state of the spinal cord and roots due to the presence of pronounced artifacts from the screw. There were no changes in the soft tissues of the dorsal surface at this level.
Conclusion: a foreign body - a screw passing through the arch, the bone marrow canal and the Th5 body on the right.

Experiments on the patient Shkolin at the Radar design bureau (conducted by Sergei Lukyanov, Candidate of Technical Sciences) showed that the mysterious implant was like metal. It conducts an electric current (this was shown by georadar) and is detected by a sensitive metal detector. By the way, after visiting "Radar", Andrey's fifth vertebra began to noticeably warm up, and just in case he stopped experiments on himself, having flown to Moscow.
At the end of last year, when Andrei Shkolin returned to Tomsk, we again "enlightened" his spine in one of the Mikran divisions. The sensitive equipment did not find any traces of transistors. This means that our earthly special services (they are usually accused of spying on citizens) did not install the CHIP for Andrey.
Another tomographic study of Shkolin was carried out this year in Moscow, when the TVC channel filmed a short story about him for news. New tomograms confirmed the Tomsk results.
Neurosurgeons - both ours and those in Moscow - claim that Andrey did not perform any operations on his back or spine. There are no traces. Now Andrei Shkolin is busy with his creative problems, translates the magazine "Chanson" into a new format and observes the behavior of his inner mysterious object. The operation to remove it is categorically rejected by neurosurgeons. Dangerous.

The fact is that last year one Tomsk journalist heard about this case, went to the Tomsk cardio center, where he was told about this clinical case with details and surname. The journalist immediately gave the material to a popular online publication, giving the name of Andrey.
Andrei was upset at first. And then he forgave the desperate journalist. He said: "Yes, I myself would have fired my correspondent if he could not unearth the name of the hero we are interested in."
But it's too early to lower the curtain. Miracles continue. During a session of regressive hypnosis, Andrei Shkolin seemed to remember who and when had implanted a screw several years ago in Omsk … But this is unreliable proof. After all, hypnosis is a dream translated into Russian.
And more of miracles. Over the past time, the Tomsk Cardiology Center accidentally (?) Erased the results of computed tomography of Andrey's fifth thoracic vertebra on the server. And from the registration log from the page for January 12, 2009, the record about the patient Shkolina disappeared. It was brought there in front of my eyes, because I paid for the CT scan with my own hand (as a charity and out of scientific curiosity).
