Instead of an introduction: the small giant of big politics
For conspiracy theorists from different countries, the concept of "conspiracy theory" is invariably associated with the concept of "world conspiracy of the Jews" who "insidiously captured" the world financial markets and created a kind of "world government". But this is just a myth, this is an illusion, designed to inspire doubters that the powerful family clans of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers and other bankers are trying to rule the planet.
Actually, there is a lot of truth in this. Indeed, many events in world history since the 19th century were the result of the struggle of these clans among themselves for spheres of influence. But all this is just an outer shell, a simple PR, designed to divert attention from the third force, which is trying to remain invisible, but at the same time control all world processes. It was this force that contributed to the growth of the above clans and initiated the formation of structures that many ordinary people consider a "secret world government" - first of all, the Bilderberg Club, as well as numerous Masonic lodges and "secret societies" such as "Skull and Bones". But this is just a tinsel covering the global interests of a huge force that is trying to stand not just behind the scenes of world politics, but also behind the scenes of the “behind the scenes” itself. This power is above the "conspiracy theory". She is “on the other side of good and evil”.
If we look at the Bible, "her name is legion." To be honest, her name is Vatican. This is perhaps the smallest and at the same time the most closed city-state on our planet. A country with an area of only 0.44 sq. km, located in the western region of Rome, on the right bank of the Tiber. The population is only about two thousand people. In general, the Vatican became an independent state only on June 7, 1929, in accordance with the Lateran Agreements concluded by Pope Pius XI with the Italian government (which was then headed, by the way, by Benito Mussolini). The state has its own newspaper, radio and television, its own flag, its own army (from the Swiss guards) and, remarkably, even its own prison - in the absence of its own police.
And for all its seeming playfulness, this dwarf state possesses colossal power, based on enormous resources - human, financial and others. The Vatican has more power than any government or any multinational corporation. It's just that for every Catholic there is only one pastor - the Pope, whose word is much more important than any decree of any president, because the Pope is the Lord's deputy on Earth. In fact, the papal throne is able to control almost the entire Aglo-Saxon world and the traditional colonies in which faith was implanted "with fire and sword." But the Vatican cannot yet control the whole world - two strongholds oppose this - the Russian Orthodox Church and Beijing, and a new force gaining weight - the Islamic world. Therefore, it is on these areas that the main attention of the Vatican is now focused,who uses all his influence to neutralize these threats at the hands of NATO. And to divert attention from itself as from the main driving force, the Holy See actively uses the "conspiracy theory" as a way to divert attention to the "third-party object" - the Rothschilds, Rockefellers and other "Jewish Masons", whom the Vatican himself nurtured, and, perhaps, precisely for this purpose.
The need to create a "conspiracy theory" arose long ago. The power of the Vatican was shaken back in the 19th century, when Russia and Asia began to become a real force. And the Vatican suddenly realized that now the pontiff can no longer voluntarily change the rulers in any country. The world began to rule not just capital, but capital, backed by an idea. As for financial capital, this has never been a problem for the Roman Catholic Church - the resources of the Vatican are enormous, and no one can even estimate their scale. According to the most conservative estimates, the Vatican has at least $ 150 billion annually from donations alone, while the total annual income may be an order of magnitude higher.
But the main thing is not money. The main thing is the so-called "human capital". This is power over the minds of hundreds of millions of people, which cannot be estimated in money. And it is also the knowledge accumulated by all generations of mankind, which the Vatican was able to concentrate in its hands. This was precisely the goal of the crusades, missions and expeditions to South America (as well as capital itself - untold wealth in the form of gold and precious stones).

But this is just an introduction. Now we will try to disassemble everything in order and put it on the shelves. Let's start with world politics.

We are traditionally accustomed to thinking that the Vatican is a small state that does not claim to be actively involved in international politics. This opinion is fundamentally wrong. Suffice it to recall that the Holy See in the Middle Ages was the most significant player in the European political arena, sometimes changing monarchs and sending entire dynasties into oblivion.
During the colonial era, European Catholic countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Spain and Belgium enjoyed a special privilege given to them by the Vatican. They were allowed to play the role of a kind of "curators" of non-Catholic countries in order to protect the rights of Catholics living there. For example, Austria-Hungary was the "curator" of Serbia, which was expressed in the training of future Catholic priests for the Balkans in seminaries in Hungary and Austria, the appointment of bishops in this country and the right of armed invasion of Serbia in the event of a threat to the Catholics living there.
This, however, was not enough for the Holy See - it needed undivided power in the Balkans, which for more than a thousand years were first under the influence of Orthodox Byzantium, and then the Muslim Turks, who turned Constantinople into the capital of the Ottoman Empire. The king of Serbia, Alexander I, died in 1903 as a result of an assassination attempt organized by the army, dissatisfied with the pro-Austrian king's policies. Peter I Karadjordjevic, who took the Serbian throne, renounced absolute power, strengthened the role of parliament, and began democratic reforms in the state. But this did not suit the Vatican, who considered the democratic system a threat to Catholicism (in fact, this opinion has survived to this day). Therefore, at the beginning of the twentieth century, the idea of signing the Concordat directly with Serbia was born. Six months after Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany, on July 20, 1933, the German Reich Chancellor signed a Concordat with the Vatican. The Vatican pursued the goal of the official recognition by the German authorities of the Code of Canon Law in Germany, but Hitler thought about something else: “The signing of the Concordat with the Vatican for the new Germany means the recognition of the National Socialist state by the Catholic Church. The treaty clearly shows to the world that National Socialism's hostility to religion is a lie. The Concordat has created a sphere of trust between us and the church that will be of particular importance in the relentless struggle against international Jewry. It is worth noting that Hitler was not at all a pioneer in the persecution of Jews. 400 years before him, Pope Paul IV in 1556 ordered the Jews of Rome to be driven into a ghetto on the other side of the Tiber. Few knowthat it was this Roman pontiff who first invented to “mark” Jews with yellow stars on their clothes.
In August 1939, just before the start of the war, Eugenio Pacelli, who had previously conducted negotiations with Hitler on behalf of the Vatican on the signing of the Concordat and by this time had already become Pope Pius XII, began working on a new map of the world. He proposed to convene an international conference under the auspices of the papal throne in order, in particular, to persuade Poland to accept the famous German ultimatum on the "Danzig corridor". The papal nuncio in Warsaw, Filippo Cortesi, pressured the Polish government with all his might to get it to accept Hitler's demands. On September 1, 1939, the Fuehrer, through the German ambassador in the Apostolic Capital, thanked Pius XII for his help and said that “for two days I waited for the arrival of the Polish representative with peace proposals to resolve the German-Polish conflict. In response to our peace initiatives with you, Poland has carried out a general mobilization. Moreover, yesterday the Poles once again violated our border, this time using units of the regular army”.
And already on September 30, 1939, in honor of the victory over Poland, bells were rang in all Catholic churches in Germany and Austria. And Pope Pius XII was silent, not responding to the requests of the French and Polish governments and not condemning the German aggression. The veil of secrecy over the pontiff's silence was opened by a letter from the German Ambassador to the Vatican Diego von Bergen to Ernst Voermann, an employee of the political department of the German Foreign Ministry: "The Pope's refusal to take a clear position condemning Germany fully meets his promise, which he conveyed to me a few weeks ago through a confidant."
This is the role that the Vatican played in the history of the First and then the Second World War. Polish Foreign Minister in the pre-war period, Jozef Beck, forced to flee the Nazi invasion of Romania, gave the following assessment of this role: “The greatest responsibility for the tragedy of my country lies with the Vatican. Too late I realized that our foreign policy served exclusively the selfish purposes of the Roman Catholic Church."
You can also recall the bloody regime of the Ustasha, who created the Independent Croatian State, which Hitler recognized as Aryan. The Ustash did not hide the fact that they were trying to exterminate all who do not adhere to Catholicism, and demonstrated all this in practice, so much so that even Hitler's officers were shocked. The envoy of the German Foreign Ministry G. Neubacher reported to Ribbentrop: "The policy of the leader of the Ustasha and the head of Croatia, Ante Pavelic, resembles religious wars, especially the bloodiest of them:" One third must become Catholics, one third must leave the country, and one third must die! " The last point of this program has already been completed. " And all this atrocity was carried out to the glory of the Roman Catholic Church, which, by the way, condemned fascism only after the end of World War II. At the same time, there is a lot of evidence thatthat the Vatican actively facilitated the transfer of German criminals who tried to escape punishment for their crimes to South America.
The question is, what did the Vatican get from all this? Well, of course, money. All the gold plundered by the Ustashas was stored in the Vatican, as well as part of the stock of Nazi Germany - from these funds the Holy See financed the transport of Nazi criminals to third countries after the war. And, in addition to the money itself, the Vatican got a considerable number of unique historical artifacts, which are still considered irretrievably lost (we will talk about this later). Of course, the saved Nazis did not remain in debt, having begun sowing "new seeds" in a new place - not forgetting, of course, about the Roman Catholic Church. So, in fact, the second wave of Catholicization of South America began (after the "missionary" trips of Cortez).
The Vatican from the Cold War to the Color Revolutions
After the Second World War, the Vatican, barely washing away the accusations of conniving with fascism (not without the help of the United States and its allies, who welcomed the Nazis saved by the Holy See with open arms), began to increasingly influence world politics and at the same time show it less and less - he did learn lessons from this war, albeit very peculiar ones. During this period, the Vatican had two main policy directions: the fight against communism (under the auspices of the struggle for religious freedom) and the promotion of Catholicism (as a means of political and economic influence).
A key event in the post-war history of the Vatican was the Second Vatican Council, which completed its work in December 1965. This is the highest meeting of the bishops of the Roman Catholic Church, which at that time united about 500 million people, and now - more than one and a half billion. The Council began under the leadership of Pope John XXIII (née Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli) and ended under the leadership of his successor Paul VI (Giovanni Battista Montini). And the main topic of the Council was the discussion of the role and place of the Roman Catholic Church in the modern world.
Opening the Second Vatican Council, John XXIII called for the renewal of the church, taking into account the changes that have occurred in the world over the past centuries. He explained: “This does not mean that the gospel is changing. This means that we begin to understand him better. Those who, as it was with me, were able to get acquainted with different cultures and with different traditions, realize that it is time to understand the signs of the times and start looking beyond today. Thus, the Pope for the first time in history proclaimed the need for a dialogue between Catholics and the entire outside world, starting with the followers of other Christian confessions and other religions and ending with unbelievers and even persecutors of the Church (THIS IS AN EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT EVENT, WHICH IS OF A GREAT SIGNIFICANCE FOR UNDERSTANDING WHAT We will tell you in the FURTHER).
In fact, this strategy provided for the beginning of a dialogue with the communist regimes, which seriously alarmed the strategists of the West, and special envoy John McCone was sent to the Pope from Washington, who warned him against any contacts with the USSR. The famous modern scientist and publicist, great-nephew of John XXIII, Marco Roncalli, who, in his monograph dedicated to an outstanding relative, told about this meeting, with reference to the American researcher Thomas Gordon, the famous modern scientist and publicist, cites Pope McCone's answer: “We must end poverty, denial of human rights, racism and political oppression. The only way to resist communism is to find a thoughtful, balanced alternative to it. The United States then could not understand the Pope, but he simply began to conduct his policy,to re-establish the Vatican as the leading political force on the world stage. And this, thanks to his successors, succeeded: the dialogue with the communists ultimately turned into the collapse of the communist system, and the dialogue with representatives of other religions and non-believers turned into an increase in the influence of the Vatican in underdeveloped and developing countries.
It should be noted that in the Roman Catholic Church there were many opponents of dialogue with the communist regimes. The arguments of the “conservatives” sounded something like this: “Negotiations are useless. Communism has its own strategic plan in relation to the Church and religion, clear and not subject to revision … And the consent of the Holy See to perceive the communist regimes as worthy interlocutors is tantamount to recognizing not only their strength and stability, but also their integrity."
But the new Pope Paul VI, having carefully weighed all the pros and cons, came to the conclusion that it was necessary not only not to abandon the dialogue with the “Eastern bloc”, but even more actively engage in discussions with the ideological antipodes of Catholicism on the most pressing issues of our time, including the search for a peaceful solution to conflicts in the "hot spots" of the planet and human rights, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Evidence of this is Paul VI's lightning trip to New York and his speech at the UN General Assembly in the midst of the fourth session of the Council and, most importantly, the involvement of the Vatican in the negotiations on the preparation of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, the final act of which on behalf of the Pope signed in Helsinki in August 1975 by Agostino Casaroli.
The result of the Vatican's "Eastern policy" is well known: in exchange for recognizing the inviolability of the post-war borders in Europe, the USSR assumed the obligation to respect human rights, including the religious freedom of its citizens. And although from the very beginning he did not comply with his obligations, unwittingly, he brought the legal basis under the pressure of the West, the emergence of the movement of "dissidents" and the awakening of anti-totalitarian sentiments in broad layers of Soviet society, which brought closer - already in the years of the next pontificate, under Pope John Paul II, - the collapse of the USSR and the "socialist camp". But, most notably, all this time, interstate contacts between the Vatican and Moscow (referred to as the First and Third Rome) developed on an increasing basis, in 1990 they became official, and at the end of 2009 they became full-scale diplomatic relations. I.e,the role of the Vatican in the collapse of the USSR and the socialist camp remained generally unnoticed, the Holy See simply skillfully created the conditions for playing with someone else's hands, marking its return to the “behind the scenes” of world politics.
Now the Vatican is a state, the official degree of influence of which is almost equal to the American one, and unofficially the Holy See is a key player in world geopolitics, which is confirmed by the correspondence documents of the US diplomatic corps published by Wikileaks. The Vatican maintains diplomatic relations with 179 states of the world, second only to the United States. The Holy See has observer status at the UN and maintains diplomatic relations with the European Union and the Sovereign Order of Malta. During the years of the pontificate of Benedict XVI, the ambassadors of Australia, Cameroon, East Timor and Benin acquired their residences in Rome. Even the permanent mission of the Palestine Liberation Organization has a special status in the Apostolic Capital.
The Vatican also formalized its membership in 7 organizations and agencies of the UN system, observer status in 8 other and 5 regional structures. On December 5, 2011 in Geneva, the Council of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) recognized the Holy See as a full member of the IOM. In 2010, the Vatican signed important agreements with Azerbaijan, Montenegro and Mozambique.
The official policy of the Holy See is invariably aimed at "preserving peace on earth, social justice and equality of peoples." At the same time, the Vatican places special emphasis on supporting developing countries, stating that it is precisely on them, in the end, that the economic crisis that originated in the West and through the fault of the West is hitting hardest. All this seems to be correct. But other speeches of the pontiff make one think. Thus, he notes that "religiously motivated terrorism" (meaning Islamic) "has caused many victims, especially in Asia and Africa," referring to Pakistan and Nigeria. These countries, by the way, have recently become targets for attacks from the United States and NATO - is it by chance?
It is also noteworthy that Pope Joseph Ratzinger at the end of 2011 expressed his hope for an early end to the bloodshed in Syria and for the start of a fruitful dialogue between the parties, with the support of independent observers. He especially touched upon the "Arab Spring", stating that it must develop "in the conditions of respect for the dignity of each individual." Without taking the trouble to assess the results of the "Arab Spring" (it is still not entirely over), the Pope nevertheless considered it necessary to note that "in North Africa and the Middle East, where young people suffer from poverty, unemployment and lack of prospects, they launched a broad movement for reform and access to political and social participation.” That is, the Vatican considers these bloody and not yet ended unrest as a blessing for the people of the affected countries,knowing perfectly well that the "Arab Spring" was created artificially.
It is very alarming that the Pope did not ignore the problems of Africa, citing the division of Sudan into two states as a possible example for Somalia and other "hot spots" - the former Ivory Coast, the Great Lakes region and the Horn of Africa (of course, with the obligatory observance of the principles of religious freedom). And just as alarming is the fact that the Holy See has recently been persistently trying to advocate the formation of an independent Palestinian state, knowing full well what kind of reaction this will cause from Israel. Rather, Israel treats the Vatican's remarks quite calmly, the Arab countries and the Palestinians themselves react to them, first of all, and Tel Aviv reacts to this reaction, and extremely sharply. That is, this situation cannot be called otherwise than provoking a conflict.
Actually, from these above statements, it is already possible to make geopolitical predictions about how events will develop in the countries mentioned by the Pope, and then draw conclusions - and who actually controls world politics. But it is not at all easy to achieve such a level of governance while remaining “behind the scenes” of world “behind-the-scenes” politics. One of the ways that help the Vatican to achieve its goals is the art of mythmaking. In order to get its hands on the levers of control of world politics, the Vatican went on to create several myths designed to divert attention from itself and even present the Vatican as a "victim" and the main target of "conspiracies" or the only "savior of souls" on the eve of an impending catastrophe … For this, several artificially created myths from a series of "conspiracy theories" were used at once,the most serious of which were the "conspiracy of the bankers" (against the whole world) and the "conspiracy of the Illuminati" (against the Roman Catholic Church).
As mentioned in the first part of the article, one of the ways that help the Vatican in achieving its global goals is the art of myth-making. To get its hands on the levers of control of world politics, the Vatican went on to create several myths designed to divert attention from itself and even present the Vatican as a “victim” and the main target of “conspiracies” or the only “savior of souls” on the eve of an impending catastrophe. For this, several artificially created myths from a series of "conspiracy theories" were used, the most serious of which were the "conspiracy of the bankers" (against the whole world) and the "conspiracy of the Illuminati" (against the Roman Catholic Church).
Vatican Myths
Myth # 1: The Bankers' Conspiracy
Since we spoke in detail about the "conspiracy of the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers" in our newspaper last year (see # 3, 4, 5 for 2011), now we will only briefly recall the main thing. Actually, there is nothing supernatural in this "conspiracy theory" - indeed, there are several competing financial groups, the most influential of which are the Rothschild group and the Rockefeller group. Their interests extend to the whole world and sometimes coincide, sometimes contradict each other. Accordingly, the parties are interested in establishing the “rules of the game,” especially since global competition also affects the interests of the political elites of the leading powers. This is how “platforms for the exchange of opinions” such as the Bilderberg Club appeared, for which among the conspiracy theorists all over the world the sign of “secret world government” was entrenched.
All this happens in reality, but it is shrouded in an aura of secrecy and super secrecy, which arouses burning curiosity among people. As a result, they discover that the damned Jewish bankers are to blame for all the troubles of the world, who are preparing a "Zhidomason conspiracy" against humanity. Well, this may well be partly true. But this is not even a half-truth, this is its visible part - the one that they want to show.
And if we put the "Vatican mythology" aside and look at things deeper, then you can unearth (albeit bit by bit) information that the same Rothschilds and Rockefellers have always donated large sums to the needs of the Roman Catholic Church. And they are very willing to deposit Vatican finances in their banks. The historian Baron Avro Manhattan, in his 1983 book The Vatican Billions, cites interesting facts about papal investments: “The Vatican invests heavily through the Rothschild structures in the UK, France and the USA, through Hambros Bank, Credit Suisse in London and Zurich. In the USA, he cooperates in this direction with Morgan Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, First National Bank of New York, Bankers Trust Company and others. In the same way, all structures of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers and others like them spend their funds through the Vatican Bank and offshore companies controlled by it. The bank's official name is Istituto per le Opere di Religione (Institute for Religious Affairs). The Vatican Bank is the most unique bank in the world, because it does not follow any ordinary financial law, obeying only its own rules and traditions. His employees cannot be interrogated and somehow burdened by neither law enforcement nor tax authorities. And this is its uniqueness for those who do not want to disclose their fortune and their financial transactions - this information will be hidden no worse than the secret of confession. They never say anything about clients or their accounts, and the data is not processed electronically, which excludes the possibility of penetration through computer networks. And under no circumstances does the bank publish reports.
Of course, embarrassment also happens. In particular, scandals regularly arise related to accusations against the Vatican Bank of laundering money obtained by illegal means. The first scandal happened in the late 1970s, when a banker named Michele Sindona was the main financial advisor to Pope Paul VI. He owned the Fasco AG holding, which owned a controlling stake in Franklin New York Corp. Sindona was also a major shareholder in Talcott Financial Corp., Oxford Electric, Argus, Paramount Pictures and Libby. He ran Privata Italiano, Banca de Messina and Franklin National Bank through Liechtenstein's web of companies. In 1974, Sindona went on the run when Franklin New York Corp. "suddenly" burst.
In 1979, Italian police put pressure on the fugitive banker's assistant, Giorgio Ambrosoli. He said that the bank's default was planned by the heads of the Vatican's financial structures - APSA and IOR. According to him, Franklin National Bank was acquired with funds from one-day banks. The structures were established by the Vatican. However, the official buyers of Franklin were Finabank in Geneva and Amincor Bank in Zurich, which received profits from its activities. Banks filed for bankruptcy after $ 2 billion in Franklin's circulating capital added to their accounts. The next morning, Ambrosoli's body was found in the Tiber. Sindona was caught and sentenced to 25 years in prison. In 1986, he began to cooperate with the investigation and reveal the secrets of the Vatican Bank, and in the same year he was poisoned in the prison canteen in front of the guards.
