The story of the birth of the American currency was not without a "Russian trace"
Fans of conspiracy theorists are sure that the American dollar has endowed the closed elite community of Masons with power. This organization is credited with both world domination and the management of the entire financial system. Allegedly, Masons have unlimited possibilities, and the first presidents of the United States were just members of a secret Masonic lodge, and, using certain ancient symbols, put special energy into the very first bill.
Where did the two sticks come from?
The United States did not have its own national currency until 1784. It was only then that Congress approved the name of the currency as "dollar". Until that time, Spanish pesos, Portuguese reals, Dutch thalers, and English dullers were in use on the continent.
There is a version that the name was born from "dallers" and "thalers". Or from the Dutch "lion daalerder". And the famous dollar sign - $ - was invented in 1778 by the merchant Oliver Pollock. The symbol may have come from the plural of the Spanish peso. S was superimposed on P, and two vertical sticks were obtained from two columns, which were depicted on the peso and symbolized the Gibraltar pillars.
Another version - from the abbreviation USA, when two letters U and S were mixed, and the lower part of the first disappeared and two vertical lines superimposed on the second. Or again from the same letters, but from the abbreviated silver (silver) and unit (unit, ingot). Or maybe it was taken from the Austrian thaler, on which a snake wraps around a cross. Another option: from the shilling, which was designated as S with one vertical bar. Historians can still argue for a long time over the origin of the most popular symbol and put forward new theories.

Another mystery: who "drew" the one dollar banknote, which does not lose its power to this day?
Some researchers insist that Sergei Makronovsky, an emigrant from Russia, had a hand in the design. There is a hypothesis that under this name the Russian philosopher, mystic, artist Nicholas Roerich was hiding. He carried out a task commissioned by the future President Franklin Roosevelt, who was a Freemason. In addition, many modern researchers believe that Roerich himself was a freemason - he joined the lodge in the United States in the 1930s.
The symbolic and mystical dollar was released in 1928. Interestingly, at the beginning it was black and white. They began to fake it often, simply by reshooting. And then it was decided to add a green color that is sufficiently resistant to external influences and carries the energy of growth and prosperity.
Opponents of this theory deny Roerich's candidacy, because in those years he was generally on an expedition to the deserts of Manchuria and there is no documentary evidence of his work on the banknote. According to them, Masonic signs generally appeared on the dollar only in 1935 and the engraver Edward M. Weeks worked on it at the request of the same Franklin Roosevelt. Why was the banknote of the smallest denomination turned into a sacred symbol? Even the Templars, the founders of Freemasonry, treated the unit with reverence, meaning "unity in diversity." In addition, for a long time, the one-dollar bill was the most common.

And today historians evaluate dollar symbolism differently. The obverse depicts the famous Freemason - the first President of the United States, George Washington. On the opposite side there is a pyramid truncated from above with 13 steps and the All-Seeing Eye of the Great Architect of the Universe, most likely the Creator, rises above it. This is what the inscription says: “He (God? - author) blesses our deeds”. Bottom: One World Order.
True, other researchers note that the pyramid is found in other cultures, and the All-Seeing Eye, for example, symbolizes the ancient Egyptian god Ra, who is responsible for life itself and power. If you mentally draw the Star of David around the pyramid, then the letters that appear on the tops of its rays can be easily folded into the word MASON. And at its foot is the inscription MDCCLXXVI, which allegedly encodes either the date of signing the Declaration of Independence of the United States (1776), or the time of the founding of the secret order of "initiates" - the Illuminati. Perhaps the digital code is 666.
In principle, according to the conspiracy theorists, in the one dollar banknote, the "number of the beast" is encrypted several times, as is the "number of Satan" - 13.
For example, the symbol of the states - a bald eagle, holds in its beak the inscription “One of the many” (or another reading: “Unity in diversity”), consisting of 13 letters. And again on the shield covering the bird's chest there are 13 stripes, in one paw there are 13 arrows, in the other - an olive branch with 13 leaves and 13 fruits.
One wing of the eagle is decorated with 32 feathers, symbolizing the 32 steps in the Masonic lodge, and on the other there are already 33 feathers. This is the number of the highest, most secret level, which bestows unlimited power and the most sacred knowledge. The six-pointed star of David, made up of 13 white five-pointed stars, hovers above the eagle. In the same Egypt, an eagle with an olive branch personified the victorious power, the might of the state. And the number 13 is not only the number of Satan, but also of power.
An exclusively Masonic sign can be found on the obverse: the scale, square and key are depicted in a green circle. These are occult symbols of wealth, giving the keys to the whole world.
An interesting fact: a week before his death, US President John F. Kennedy said: “In this country there is a plan to enslave every man, woman and child. Before leaving this high and honorable position, I intend to expose this plan. But he did not have time and was killed. Surely, he knew something, but could not resist the secret and powerful community.
By the way: To ruin a dollar bill or tear it, you need to bend it at least 4 thousand times. And the width of an American bill of any denomination is exactly 6.66 mm - one more three sixes.
