Scientists from the University of Psychological Research in Ireland claim that a person's surname can affect the fate and future life of an individual. Experts learned about this news thanks to a number of statistical experiments, reports a foreign publication.

In the course of their observations, experts studied the "loud" surnames of different people living in the United States. The scientists chose the United States due to the fact that the names of the citizens of this state are the most modern, and they are the easiest to decipher.

After analyzing a huge number of human surnames, it was possible to understand that the so-called "speaking" surnames, which contain words that are understandable to people, may be subconsciously connected with the lives of their owners. It is noteworthy that this influence is bilateral.

"The origin of a person's surname can be caused by certain characteristics of the character and behavior of his ancestors, as well as their fates," the scientists say.

It is thanks to these facts that it has been proved that the function of the surname may include the ability to show those very important things that underlie the human personality, thereby affecting our health and life.

According to the statistics obtained, people with the surname Brady, translated from English - are slow, quite often get bradycardia. This is a cardiovascular disease, due to which the heart rate slows down in patients. People with the surname Fat, which translates as "fat", have a more developed predisposition to obesity.

The situation is similar with more positive surnames, for example, such as Smart - smart, Bright - bright, Strong - strong. Their carriers are somewhat different from other people, showing a positive character and a joyful attitude towards the outside world.
