Some scientific and pseudo-scientific theories assert that the Earth inside is hollow and there is life in its depths. It is curious that the researchers of the Third Reich were seriously concerned about this issue. True, all their research did not lead to anything.
What is Corekhism?
Ancient Greek mythology tells of Tartarus - a sinister underworld. It is not for nothing that there is still a saying - "to fall into the tartar". And the philosopher Anaxagoras (5th century BC) built a model of the universe, consisting of a flat Earth, surrounded by an air sphere and an etheric cloud. But at the same time, he writes about a certain parallel world, where there are people, cities and even heavenly bodies. If the center of the universe is the Earth, then where do these people live? Maybe underground?
Hypotheses about the existence of a hollow space inside the Earth appeared later. Halley, Franklin and Lichtenberg have put forward theories about this.
The American researcher of alchemy Cyrus Teed, having studied the ancient Egyptian papyri, developed the idea that the Earth is a sphere, on the inner surface of which an inhabited world is located. That is, we ourselves live inside the Earth!
In 1864, Teed even founded an occult doctrine called Corechism, preaching it through his Fire Sword newspaper. By the end of the 19th century, Korekhism had already had several thousand followers.

Career and collapse of Peter Bender
After the First World War, the former German pilot Peter Bender, who had become a prisoner of the French, who had become familiar with Korechism, came to the conclusion that the Universe is enclosed … in a rock! It is surrounded by a layer of air that is rarefied to an absolute vacuum. In the center of the rock is a spherical mass, consisting of primordial matter, around which the cosmos revolves: the Earth, the small Sun and Moon and a cloud of bluish gas with sparkles, which we take for stars. It is from the position of the celestial bodies in relation to the central ball that the change of seasons, solar and lunar eclipses depend. Since light rays fall on the Earth along a curved trajectory, and infrared rays - in a straight line, we get a completely distorted idea of the structure of the universe.
The leaders of the Third Reich showed interest in Bender's works. The Hollow Earth theory became so popular in Nazi circles that it was even included in the school curriculum. The fact is that the Nazis were very interested in occult research, hoping that mastering these secrets would help them gain power over the entire world.
According to some sources, Hitler argued that "the theory of the hollowness of the Earth is much closer to the truth than Einstein's ravings."
So, the Bonza of the Third Reich took Bender's words seriously. He became a scientific consultant for a number of classified projects. But the Nazis needed practical results that could be applied, for example, in the military sphere. Finally, Bender said that it is possible, using the hypothesis of curved space, to try to find clusters of enemy equipment with infrared rays.
In April 1942, an expedition headed by infrared technician Heinz Fischer set out for the island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea. There, the researchers tried to "see" the English fleet stationed in Scapa Flo with the help of radars: according to Bender's assurances, it was on Rugen that one of the points of the "curved space" of the Universe closed deep into the rock was located. Alas, the experiment ended unsuccessfully … Bender was sent to a concentration camp as punishment, where he died.
Does Earth-2 exist?
Despite the disastrous results of experiments to test the theory of the "hollow earth", Korechism still had followers in West Germany. After the war, amateur astronomer Johann Lang published the book The Theory of the Hollow World, and in 1949 Walter Brenner-Krukenberg's brochure The Earth is a huge hollow ball was published. However, unlike Bender, the latter believed that there was not a rock outside the universe, but a kind of spherical body. The earth, in his opinion, revolves around its axis, approaching one of the poles every 182 days, which is why the seasons change.

Shklovsky - are developing the concept of a "mirror universe", according to which there is a parallel space of the Universe, which, according to the law of reflection, contracts in such a way that another sphere of much larger size is placed inside the spherical cavity of the object.
