Canadian scientists have determined a new date for the likely death of all mankind. They speculate that this could happen within 700 years. Such data were published in a report prepared by the research organization BCA Research.

Peter Berezin, who is one of the leading authors of this work entitled "Doomsday Risks", was able to calculate that all of humanity was faced with the risk of imminent extinction. It will die within a few hundred years, but there is also the likelihood that this fateful event may happen a little earlier.

A former economist who now serves as the chief strategist of BCA Research, as well as a team of scientists under his leadership, determined that the probability of the disappearance of all people on Earth reaches 50% by 2290, and by 2710 it is already 95%. These calculations cannot be considered accurate, in economics such data are classified as "tail risks", which means that they have an extremely low probability, but they should not be written off at all.

Scientists explain that 700 years, compared to the total age of the planet, which has been developing for about three million years, seems like only a small particle in the sands of time, but these years mean much more for humanity than for the Universe.
