Ernst Rifgatovich, for more than one expedition you have been following in the footsteps of legends and finding confirmation of their legitimacy. Why did you believe the Bashkir legends, and not treat them like a fairy tale?
- For a long historical time, the Bashkirs were under the rule of the so-called sesens - initiated sages who consider it their duty to carry the knowledge of antiquity. Therefore, Bashkir legends are very informative. By the way, the candidate of sciences Zilya Rakhmatullina, whom I consider to be the best connoisseur of the Bashkir epic, played an important role in working out this issue.
From these legends it is clear that the stone has periods of growth, maturation and withering, like any living creature. Moreover, the cases of meeting with "stone people" are described. There are even special terms: tashbash (stone head), tashkeshe (stone man) and tashyan (stone soul). In addition, the impression is that the "stone people" lived in a relatively recent historical time, since they remained in the memory of the indigenous population as living beings. So it made sense to start looking.
What do you mean by the expression "stone life"?
- In scientific circles, there is an opinion that stone (or silicon) life once existed on Earth, which was then replaced by hydrocarbon life. But it seems to me that stone life still exists, although it is in a relatively passive state.

How do they look?
- Despite the fact that legends call them exactly people, outwardly they do not look like a person. There are several types of "stone people". The first, the most common type is as follows: the upper side of the "body" is convex and semicircular, and the bottom has a semicircular concavity, on the sides of which there are three "legs" - one behind, and two on the sides. In front - an outgrowth resembling a beak. The sizes of the "legs" and "beak" vary greatly. The general dimensions of the "stone people" are also different, but most often they fluctuate within 2-7 meters. They weigh many tons. In most cases, the "stone people" "stand on their feet", but sometimes they are turned over on their backs or placed "on their butts."
The second type is hemispherical "stone people" with a bulge on one side and a concavity on the other, between which there are two “wide legs” or “legs” are generally connected into a single circular bulge. As a rule, there is no beak. Their size reaches 10 meters in diameter.
The third variety is "legless stone people", which have a smooth surface and usually stand in an open field in pairs or several pieces, forming completely even cracks between themselves. Sometimes, however, one or two "legs" can also be seen on such stones.
Don't you think that all this is not "stone people", but some kind of handicrafts of ancient people, made for some purpose?
- We also thought so at first. But when we found whole mountains of "stone people", we began to think differently. Only one such mountain includes a volume of work comparable to the construction of the pyramid of Cheops in Egypt. Therefore, it is more logical to think about stone life, and how to call stone creatures - people or not - is the second question.
From your story, it can be understood that these stone creatures could move. How did they do it? Did they walk on their "feet", or what?
- Of course not. Here, in my opinion, other energies unknown to science, which in the East are called "stone power", were at work. To this it is appropriate to recall the expression of Helena Blavatsky "Stone is crystallized Time", and the energy of Time, as the great Russian physicist Nikolai Kozyrev believed, is the most powerful energy in the world. In addition, Kozyrev came to the conclusion that this energy is concentrated in concave surfaces. Isn't that why the lower part of the "stone people" is made in the form of a concave surface, and the "legs" only change the nature of the concavity ?!
One gets the impression that the bodies of the "stone people" were once soft and could change their shape, despite the fact that it is granite or limestone. Most likely there was an anti-gravity effect here, and the movement was carried out by levitation, so it is unlikely that the "stone people" walked on their stone feet.
It turns out that you met with a completely different form of life, different from ours. Was this life reasonable?
- First of all, do not think that a person thinks with his brain. He, according to many serious scientists, thinks with his Spirit, consisting of the energy of Time … the same energy that is in a crystallized form in a stone. Therefore, it is quite logical that "a stone can think."
