In the village of Pologrudovo located in the Tarsky district of the Omsk region, local residents constantly find mysterious underground tunnels leading to no one knows where. Dips in the ground appear regularly and occur now in vegetable gardens, now in the middle of the field, or even in the courtyards of houses.

Locals approach such failures from a practical point of view, and if they appear in the yards, they make cellars out of them for storing food, and if in the fields, they simply bury them.

- We often find such underground passages, just recently a neighbor plowed a vegetable garden and fell into such a hole. I myself saw this failure. It was lined with old logs, one and a half wide and more than two meters deep. The man was dragged out, and they were afraid to go down into the tunnel. They lowered a stick there, it was more than two meters, but did not reach the bottom, - says the head of the local museum Raisa Warp.

According to the stories of local residents, many underground passages lead to a ferry crossing located on the banks of the Irtysh River, while others connect neighboring buildings. It remains a mystery who and when built a real underground network of tunnels here and why. It is known that at the time when Admiral Kolchak declared himself the supreme ruler of Russia and in these places, an underground network of tunnels already existed. In the 1920s, White Guards came here and local communists organized a partisan detachment, which was hiding in these tunnels that already existed at that time.

In local legends, these tunnels are associated with the missing gold reserves of Russia and it is believed that these tunnels lead to a hidden treasure. But historians do not believe in these legends, because Admiral Kolchak himself was not here at all, as well as the country's gold reserves.

The reports of the local population about the appearance of many entrances to underground tunnels were reacted by the Ministry of Culture of the Omsk region and said that in the summer they would conduct excavations and study the underground passages in order to find out their origin.
