“I am 40 years old and my name is Daniel Velasquez. I'm a builder from Seattle, Washington. This is my first time on a podcast like this and I want to tell a story that can be called "The Shimmering Man".
I saw something that looked like a person in a transparent disguise like in the movie "Predator" and for a long time it seemed to me that I must have gone crazy and this was not in reality. This is my first experience with the paranormal.
It was a very short meeting, but I know that I saw exactly what I saw. I am a Christian and I had a proper upbringing, but I keep asking what it was.
So, the story itself.
It was late August 2018, and I was riding in the passenger seat in our work truck with my boss at the wheel and another worker. sitting behind my back. We drove to our place of work and soon exited the I-5, which is the main road from Canada to Mexico.
As we entered the highway, I looked to the right and immediately saw this almost transparent humanoid figure, similar to the shimmering Predator disguise, moving on our right side.
In surprise, I even jumped on the seat and immediately began to say to my boss, “Oh God, do you see this? Look! “. I was completely shocked by what I saw. The figure was so transparent that behind it you could see trees and even a group of 3-4 tramps who walked along the road just behind it.

At the same time, the tramps did not seem to notice this figure at all, although it was only 20 feet (6 meters) ahead of them. I was completely shocked by what I saw and did not know what to say and what to do.
I watched this figure for only 4-5 seconds when we drove by, but when I turned for a second to the boss to ask if he saw her, and then turned again, this figure was nowhere to be seen. Either it disappeared or I lost sight of it due to its transparency.
It was almost exactly like the stealth mode in the Predator movie, I'm sure of that.
My boss obviously never saw it and my wife is the only person I've told this story to. Because I was afraid that if I told someone else about it, people would start saying that I was crazy.
In my 40 years, I have never seen anything like it before or since. So I'm glad to come here and finally share this story with the whole world."
