John Worrell Keely, an American naturalist who many call the pioneer and discoverer of free energy. For a long time he conducted experiments with water, and, it is claimed, he discovered the fourth state of aggregation, which he called "ether vapor". Keely opened it by accident while experimenting with one of his machines (pulsation-vacuum) in 1873. According to Keely, the energy hiding in the "etheric vapor" could move trains and steamers.
By the way, during his "experimental" life, John built about two thousand different devices for his research, with almost no repetition. At first, these were gigantic, monstrous mechanisms (one, for example, weighed twenty-two tons, the other was a cubic structure, with sides of more than one and a half meters), later, they noticeably decreased.

In the late 1870s, the natural scientist turned his attention to the effect of resonance, and throughout his later life he devoted himself to the study of energy hidden in vibrations and the construction of mechanisms that convert this energy into mechanical. Many people are still worried about these studies.

Scientifiq Arena reported on Keely's experiments in building a new kind of engine. The device did not require any fuel. All that was needed was a "push" for it to start working. To launch, Keely used a spectacular, albeit not entirely clear ritual: holding a bow over three tuning forks fixed at a certain distance from the engine, hitting a steel plate with a hammer. Then he reported that the engine was working, and demonstrated its work: he switched the tap to a special lever attached, which lifted a blank weighing two hundred and fifty kg.
The New York Herald "also wrote about the" disintegrator "Keely, with the help of which John in less than twenty minutes made a tunnel in the rock, four and a half meters long, through which a person could pass. At the same time, Keely did not agree to a meeting with Edison. But the company organized by him successfully issued and sold shares. So, it is quite possible that the articles were, as they say, "ordered" - the business demanded more and more miracles, attracting even more people.

Another embodiment of the Keely engine was a metal wheel, weighing thirty-two kg, eight massive spokes connected to a hollow hub. There were resonance tubes inside the hub. The design also uses elements that Keely called "revitalizing discs." They were located at the ends of the spokes and along the edge of the outer rim. Resonating cylinders were placed on the opposite edge. The "musical" start sounded again and the wheel began to rotate.

Spectacular displays and demonstrations of Keely's devices lasted until 1896, when the naturalist died. As often happens, all his devices and mechanisms were gone. One of John's most trusted friends smuggled out all the devices in an unknown direction. To hide the greatest secret of free energy, or not to reveal the secret of the great fraud?

PS. Despite the fact that John Keely is called a deceiver and a swindler, the mechanisms and theories of this natural scientist have many followers. Some of his devices are kept at the Franklin Institute of Philadelphia and the American Museum of Precision (Windsor, Vermont). Well, two thousand assembled devices! “NM” simply could not “pass by” this.
