Engineers concluded that all the towers were destroyed by controlled demolition on September 11, 2001, according to a new university study led by a professor at the University of Utah.
According to Stephen Jones, a former physics professor at Brigham Young University, a series of studies conducted in collaboration with other universities show that the World Trade Center buildings were destroyed on 9/11 with nanothermic explosives.

Ted Walter is the Director of Strategy and Development for Architects and Engineers for The Truth About 9/11 (AE911Truth), a non-profit organization that today represents over 2,500 architects and engineers. In 2015, he created AE-911Truth's Beyond Misinformation: What The Science Says About Destruction of World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2, and 7. He holds an MA in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.

It should be remembered that fires never resulted in the complete collapse of a steel-framed high-rise building before or after 9/11. On September 11, 2001, we witnessed this unprecedented event three times. NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) reports that have attempted to support this unlikely conclusion fail to convince an increasing number of architects, engineers and scientists. Instead, evidence indicates that all three buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition. Given its far-reaching implications, it is morally imperative that this hypothesis be the subject of a truly scientific and impartial investigation by the responsible authorities.
In addition to all the evidence presented in the document, they also indicate that there were more than 125 first witnesses who said they saw or heard or felt the explosions before and / or during the collapse.
The study also highlights that the mechanics of collapse represent only a small fraction of the available evidence that the effects of aircraft and fires had nothing to do with the collapse of the building:
The videos show the top of each tower collapsed during the first four seconds of collapse. After this point, no video shows the top sections, which supposedly went down to the bottom before crushing them. Videos and photos also show numerous high velocity debris exhausts that are emitted from point sources. NIST refers to them as “puffs of smoke” but cannot analyze them correctly. NIST has ignored the well-documented presence of molten metal throughout the debris field and claims that orange molten metal,which poured out of tower # 2 seven minutes before it collapsed was aluminum from an aircraft combined with organic materials. However, experiments have shown that molten aluminum, even when mixed with organic materials, has a silvery appearance, indicating that the orange molten metal is instead coming from a thermite reaction used to weaken the structure.
