61-year-old T. Scott Marr from Nebraska is now referred to as Wonder Man.

The father of four was admitted to the hospital with a stroke on December 12, 2018 after he was found unconscious in bed.

Despite the measures taken, Marr did not get better, he lay in intensive care under a life support apparatus in the same unconscious state.

Finally, the doctors said that his brain was already dead and there was nothing to help him. After that, his family agreed to disconnect Marr's body from the life support apparatus, and then to remove donor organs from it.

However, when the doctors turned off the machines, they suddenly saw that the man's body began to breathe on its own, and then realized that Marr's brain was showing signs of activity. After that, his family was informed that he was not suitable for donation.

And then, contrary to all the most daring predictions, Marr woke up and completely recovered.

Now he is still recovering at home, surrounded by his family, which considers everything that happened to be nothing more than a divine miracle.

According to the doctors, it was actually a medical error. Marr did not have a stroke, but a very rare condition called posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome, which is quite treatable.

When Marr was admitted to intensive care, doctors immediately noted that he had severe swelling in the back of the brain. It was concluded that this is an irreversible process from a stroke and that this is the beginning of the death of the man's brain.

Especially for her father, daughter Preston was worried, and even now she cannot stop crying when her father speaks with his story on TV.

But Marr's body suddenly resumed breathing on its own. And when his family returned the next day (they had already started organizing the funeral), they noticed the man wiggle his fingers.

Doctors were surprised that Marr's brain reacts to words and decided to conduct a special test. It was he who showed that the doctors made a mistake with the diagnosis and that it was not a stroke.

It turned out that Marr had a very rare syndrome of posterior reversible encephalopathy. This condition is most commonly caused by high blood pressure, but there are many other factors that can lead to this.

Thus, severe swelling of part of Marr's brain was not associated with the fatal consequences of stroke.

Marr is convinced that there is a divine manifestation in all this.

In honor of his "resurrection", Marr now wears a cap with his new nickname "Wonder Man".
