In the course of studying the buildings, scientists from the University of Huddersfield discovered that there is an unusual acoustic effect on the territory of the "Valley of Ghosts". According to scientists, the whole point lies in unusual stones that have properties to enhance sound. A special device helped the specialists to come to this solution, with the help of which the sounds of the monument were diagnosed.
Based on the results obtained, scientists suggest that Stonehenge was created as a concert hall in which popular gatherings were held more than 5 thousand years ago. But some experts reject this theory, leaning towards the assumption that the "Valley of the Ghosts" was built as a temple to worship the sun god.
