conquer the top of one of the famous Caucasian mountains. The trip was organized according to all safety rules - with a mark from the rescuers. True, the weather at this time of the year is not the best for climbing …
Despite the strong wind with falling rain, the tourists in the evening reached the foot of the mountain. It was decided to spend the night here. When we set up the tent, the rain turned into snow, and the wind intensified. The equipment was good, the tent was reliable, so that friends did not worry about anything and began to prepare for bed after a hearty dinner.
Suddenly, blocking the howling of the wind, a strange sound, inappropriate for the situation, was heard outside.
At first one heard him, then all three heard … children's crying. Only a lonely, defenseless child of about six years old could be so overwhelmed. All three were in a daze. No, not noble feelings crowded in their hearts, the souls of three adult men were chilled with terrible fear by the realization of the impossibility of what was happening. Here, where ordinary people do not walk, at night, in the middle of a fierce storm, a child cries …
But, nevertheless, being ashamed in front of friends, one of the tourists decided to check what was happening on the street.
He packed up and went out into the night.
He did not return, forcing him to go in search of the second …
And the child continued to cry …
Promotional video:
Two days later, due to the failure of the group to get in touch, a detachment of rescuers moved into the mountains.
At the foot of the mountain, they found a snow-covered, battered tent. There was only one person in the tent. This gray-haired, crazy man kept repeating, staring at the entrance: "He cries, he cries all the time!"
The other two were found a hundred meters from the tent, frozen in the snow. The faces of both were disfigured with expressions of extreme horror.
Of course, skeptics will say, they say, an ordinary bike. And the clever ones will remember about forest mockingbirds or about acoustic effects created by the wind in narrow mountain gorges.
That is so, but … they say that there is a report from the local Control and Rescue Service about the strange death of two tourists and the sending of the only survivor of the group to a psychiatric hospital with a diagnosis of "Mental disorder due to severe nervous shock."
Like this…
And old-timers and seasoned tourists say that in the most fierce weather in the impassable mountains, a heartbreaking child's cry is heard.
Woe to the one who hears him …
