Two biologists attending a regional conference at the Wood Hall Oceanographic Institute, located in Falmouth on the east coast of Massachusetts, observed a wedge-shaped formation of lights that flew silently overhead on April 29, 2017.

“My colleague and I were sitting on a bench near Water Street, next to the Oceanographic Institute, facing Nonameset Island, when my colleague drew my attention to the evening sky,” one eyewitness said.

Scientists observed a group of six rectangular lights of a slightly yellowish dull color, which lined up in the form of a wedge or letter V and flew in a northeast direction 60 meters above the ground.

“It is important to note that the lights went up and down, and also swayed in different directions, without disrupting their formation, so we assumed that they are located on one large object,” added an eyewitness.

Both biologists noted that the edge lights at each end of the UFO turned on and off alternately as they moved. Observers watched the object without stopping until the wedge flew over Water Street and disappeared behind Rowe's laboratory building.
