Many people call the Chelyabinsk region the most anomalous place in Russia, as it is full of anomalous places, mysterious buildings, monuments with secrets and other things, from which "goose bumps" will run through the skin of an ordinary person.

Chelyabinsk elevator - the habitat of the Tsar Rat

Each city has a building that embodies its mysticism and mystery. As a rule, such architecture is abandoned, dilapidated, without windows and doors. These buildings have a rich and interesting history, and they are also shrouded in legends. Some of them seem quite realistic, others are more like a fairy tale.

On the territory of Chelyabinsk, you can also find an anomalous building with a notorious reputation. This dilapidated house was previously an elevator owned by a state bank.

Despite the fact that the Chelyabinsk elevator is located in the central part of the city, it is not easy to find it, as it is obscured by more modern high-rise buildings and business centers. The building is almost a hundred years old.

Fans of the paranormal and mystical argue that rats of enormous size live inside the abandoned elevator, as well as the Tsar Rat, who leads the gang. In addition, eyewitnesses who have visited the basements of an abandoned high-rise speak of strange symbols and sentences written in Latin that they allegedly saw on the walls. In their opinion, these symbols are associated with something devilish and paranormal.

What is under the monument to Lenin, which is located on Revolution Square?

Every resident of Chelyabinsk saw this monument located in the city center on a beautiful square. But almost no one ever thought about what could be under this landmark. It turns out that near Chelyabinsk there is a whole network of tunnels connected by bunkers that have long been abandoned.

Chelyabinsk diggers have repeatedly tried to get under the monument, where one of the entrances to the dungeon is located. Every time something stopped them, something stopped them. Ufologists believe that ghosts, or other paranormal entities, who simply do not like other people's guests, live in the above-described dungeons.

The monument itself was erected in 1959. It was installed a month before the official opening, which is alarming. The city authorities said then that this way people can get used to the new look of the square.

A few days after the monument was in place, the local police department received several statements from the nearby South Ural Hotel. In one of the most expensive rooms of this hotel, several residents died in a row.

The case was immediately transferred to the KGB, after which the employees of this organization decided to patrol in the suites for some time. One night, through the darkness, a huge black hand reached out to one of the patrollers. As it turned out later, it stretched from the side where the square and the monument were located.

Rumors about this quickly spread throughout the city. The media claimed: Ilyich drives people away from him. In order to avoid such situations in the future, they decided to remake the monument, but even then there were some incidents. When Lenin's hand was rebuilt, it turned out that now he has two caps - one in his hand, and the other on his head. This flaw was quickly corrected.

Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater

There is an opinion that the most highly cultured structure in Chelyabinsk was built on bones. Some historians claim that in the past there was a cemetery on the site of the present theater, where residents of the city were buried even when it was a fortress.

During the construction of the theater, the remains were partially reburied, but not all. Most of them remained in the ground. Therefore, to this day, the theater is seen as a ghost: silhouettes of people wandering along its corridors. Even the builders said that at night and in the early morning they constantly saw ghosts.

When the theater was fully completed and put into operation, its employees began to complain about the voices they constantly heard inside the building. Despite this, the local authorities assured people that the building was erected not at the cemetery itself, but a hundred meters from it, where the tram lines were located.

The cemetery made itself felt in 1996, when construction workers laid a water supply to the Art Gallery across the square, directly in front of the theater. During the work, they hooked an old coffin with an escalator. Then it turned out that the cemetery in that area settled three years after an ancient fortress was built on the territory of Chelyabinsk.

Park of culture named after Gagarin

In the park, according to some, in the past the owners buried their animals. Therefore, in modern times, ghosts of cats, dogs and more exotic pets, such as turtles, are often seen there.

Registry office of the area "Soviet"

The building on Zwillinga Street, in which the registry office is now located, was erected on the site of the destroyed church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Chelyabinsk legends say that if the newlyweds get married in this building, they will live happily ever after.

Lake Smolino with its "Loch Ness" monster

As you know, in Lake Smolino, the water is special, more like sea water. The reason for this is the past of this reservoir - in the past it was part of the sea. Local fishermen, who visit the lake all the time, talk about a certain huge carp that is supposedly found in it. This creature was even given a name: Karp Karpych. No one managed to pull the huge fish ashore, but it claimed the lives of many fishermen.

It is also believed that the lake has a double bottom. Ancient and even prehistoric fish may exist in its underground waters.

In addition to Smolino, there are many more infamous reservoirs in the Chelyabinsk region. Fishermen in them often catch incomprehensible creatures, super-large fish. In one of the rivers, relatively recently, a shield was filmed on video - a prehistoric animal, one of the oldest on Earth. The size of this animal should not exceed ten centimeters, however, an almost meter-long monster was caught in the Chelyabinsk region.

"Witch's Hole" on Pushkin Street

Not far from the cinema "Pushkin" is the "Witch's Hole" - a building that supposedly has a portal to the afterlife. In this building, which, by the way, serves as a residential building, there is an entrance from which residents constantly move out. It is believed that those living there are constantly ill, and negative events begin to occur in their lives. Residents of the apartments of the scandalous entrance say that ghosts come to them at night.

Satka district with its "yeti"

On the territory of the Satka region, there is a small village of Suleya, whose residents say that the "Bigfoot" lives in the local swamps. In addition, the local swamps are notorious: it is believed that all kinds of evil spirits are found on them.

In 1990, to be more precise on July 29, a UFO expedition headed by N. Avdeev arrived in the Satka region, the purpose of which was to search for the Yeti. The forwarders went to the mountains through the above-described swamps, where on the very first day they met a goblin. His legs were very thin and long. In the future, forwarders saw such creatures more than once.

All the paranormal events that the forwarders experienced were described in the book "Bigfoot" by VB Sapunov. It also describes the fact that the forwarders managed to anger the "Bigfoot", who, in order to drive away unwanted guests, began to throw stones at them. It was possible to examine the "Yeti" remarkably: his growth was equal to three meters, his face was clean, dark, with large nostrils, and the body itself was covered with thick hair.

In Ashinsky region there is a lake "Shaitanka" of incredible depth

A large number of legends are associated with this lake. Almost all of them begin with the fact that no one was able to measure the depth of this reservoir. Some say that the depth of the "Shaitanka" reaches 200 meters.

There are also stories about a coastal village that existed in the Ashinsky region before the lake overflowed its banks. The village was completely washed away by water.

Local media once published the news that fishermen saw a prehistoric ichthyosaur monster on Lake Shaitanke. In addition, you can often come across news that residents of nearby villages over the lake see UFOs.
