This story happened during my student years. From the first year, a cheerful girl Marina studied with me in the group. She came from another city, and since she did not get a place in the hostel, she and her friend Olya began to rent an apartment.
Once Marina and I went on a two-day excursion around the Moscow region. At night we were accommodated in a small hotel. We couldn't sleep in the new place, and Marina told me a strange story.
It turned out that in a rented apartment, as soon as he and his girlfriend moved in there, some strange things immediately began. The girls could not sleep well at night: they woke up because someone touched them or even pinched them.
Things in the apartment moved by themselves! Slippers left by the bed in the evening could be at the front door by morning. And a box of tea was constantly found in different places. But the girls considered the biggest nuisance of the dishes, which fell off the shelves and, like a suicide, smashed to smithereens on the floor.
And some things just disappeared without a trace. And all this happened with your favorite subjects. For example, a cup, which she liked more than others, broke, or a wooden hairbrush, hand-painted by Marina's brother and presented to her as a teenager, disappeared.
Young lodgers decided that evil spirits lived with them in the apartment. They tried to appease their invisible neighbor with the methods recommended on the Internet. They left various goodies and talked to him. They even bought him a cup that looked like a broken one - what if he wanted the same? However, there were no changes for the better.
The girls sprinkled the apartment with holy water, but that didn't help either. After about six months, their health began to deteriorate: constant colds, ailments, headaches. A couple of times Marina and Olya noticed bruises on their bodies, the origin of which could not be explained.
On Marina's birthday, our student group gave her a large bouquet of roses. The flowers were fresh, bought in a trusted place. But the very next morning, they not only withered, but simply dried up! In the morning Olya and Marina came to the conclusion that it was necessary to look for new housing.

The owner of the apartment was very upset when she learned that the girls decided to move. She even offered to lower the fee. Marina thought this was suspicious, because the pay was already low. And she asked directly if the previous tenants had complained about the devilry in the dwelling. The woman admitted: yes, it is impossible to rent this apartment for more than a year.
All voiced different reasons, no one spoke directly about evil spirits. But the hostess herself knew about the mysterious inhabitant: after all, she first lived in this apartment with her husband and daughter. All the hardships that befell Marina and Olya were also felt by her family. Only she got even more - her husband began to have unbearable headaches that did not respond to any treatment. And the family moved to live with relatives, and they decided to rent this apartment.
Marina and Olya felt like a mountain fell off their shoulders - they are not crazy and not dreamers!
After some time, the girls found themselves another rented accommodation. Their sleep improved. And what happened over the course of several months remained a mystery. The main thing is that it was already in the past.
