An eerie, dark silhouette was spotted in an innocent photograph with a little girl who came with her parents for a walk on the coast of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.
The photo was discovered on Facebook from where it was then posted on the resource, and then spread over the Internet.
The author of the photo assures that this is not a photoshop, but an original photo. Moreover, the girl's father did not attach any importance to the dark silhouette at all, since he thought it was just rocks.
“Near this place are several ancient tombs where samurai are buried. Perhaps, the spirit of one of them still stands on the shore and looks at the infinity of the sea,”commented the photographer.
On the Reddit site, an alternative point of view about who could be captured in the photo appeared in the discussion. According to user Jack_Shid, the ghost of a WWII soldier from the Pacific theater of operations is captured behind the girl.
But skeptical users agreed that black shoes are just a kind of play of light on rocks - a common optical illusion that people with a wild imagination took for a ghost.
