During a romantic night walk through an old church, a couple in love was scared to death by the ghost of an old man and his dog.
Stacey Brisnen and her boyfriend Lee Stummers, having climbed the famous 199 steps to St. Mary's Church in Whitby, North Yorkshire, took pictures of strange figures.
The couple were looking for the grave of two people who were born and died on the same day, when Stacey saw an old man sitting a few steps away from her, and a dog was sitting on his right near the entrance to the church.
“We only drank a pint, but we weren't drunk enough to dream of such things,” said Stacey Brissnen. - I always take pictures of everything, there was nothing special about them, but immediately I turned to Lee and said: "Look at this man."
The couple often visit Whitby Abbey and the large cemetery next to it, but have never been as scared as they were that night. As a rule, you can see strange things in photographs taken in this place, but it is very rare to see something before shooting, Stacy said.
The young people are sure that they saw the ghost of an old man in a jacket who used to walk with his dog around Whitby. Next time they are going to check if the old man is sitting in the same place.
