In the Australian city of Koberg, Victoria, there is the abandoned Pentridge prison, which operated from 1851 to 1997. At one time, approximately 1000 prisoners and 100 guards lived here. For a long time, criminals were forced to do hard labor, and men literally broke their backs, building the road from Sydney to Melbourne. The conditions of detention here were extremely poor, and the prisoners constantly staged riots, which were suppressed by the guards with great brutality.

If you believe the "terrible" urban legends, the former prison is still home to numerous ghosts of prisoners who died from the clubs and revolvers of their overseers. Today "Pentridge" serves as a kind of museum - travelers from many countries come here to see and photograph something supernatural. At least once a year, another snapshot appears on the World Wide Web, which captures the local phantom.

New evidence of the presence of paranormalism in the abandoned prison was obtained recently by an Asian tourist Emily Vijaya. A 35-year-old woman took part in a night tour of the Pentridge. First, the visitors were treated to good craft beer, and then they were led through the halls and chambers of a huge dark building. At some point, Emily took out her cell phone and took a photo of the empty stairs to the second floor. When Vijaya looked at the photograph subsequently taken, she was amazed to the core: the photograph depicted a mysterious human figure in the dark.

The Asian says:

I took some photos that night during the tour, and one of the images showed this. The ghost of one of the former prisoners? I think yes. Because when I was filming the stairs, there was no one on it or nearby. By the way, it was next to the cell where the famous criminal Mark Reed once sat. Maybe I photographed his spirit? Later I went into this cell and felt a strange and ominous cold there. My boyfriend and his cousin who were with me felt it too. In addition, we got the feeling that there is someone else inside whom we simply cannot see. Unfortunately, we were even a little confused by all this, which is why we did not take pictures in the camera itself. It's a pity…

Many users of the World Wide Web thought that this is indeed a native of the other world. Skeptics, on the other hand, suggest that we are talking about a stain on the wall or ordinary interference when shooting in the dark.
