In the Scottish city of Falkirk, a luminous unidentified flying object was photographed above the 30-meter statue of "Kelpie" depicting two horse heads.
Local amateur photographer Heather McEwan visited the famous landmark a couple of days ago and took several pictures of the steel horses at sunset, but then did not see anything supernatural in the sky.
Only after looking through the images obtained with her daughter later, the woman discovered a "flying saucer" on one of them. The photo showed a cruciform white UFO hovering over the left horse named Baron. Some skeptics are inclined to believe that this is just a flash-lit moth, but the author of the picture argues that this is impossible - in this case, the length of the insect should be several meters.
McEwan says: “I used my regular Sony compact camera. I don't have the best eyesight, and that's probably why I didn't notice this object when shooting. The next day I decided to show these photos to my daughter. Looking at my pictures, she suddenly noticed a UFO and informed me about it. I was just amazed. I immediately turned to the specialists of the UFO organization BEAMS, sending them this image."
The staff of BEAMS - the British Society for the Study of the Mysteries of the Earth and the Sky - were very interested in the picture. Here is what one of them writes: “We studied the photo provided to us and concluded that the cruciform UFO on it cannot be an airplane, a drone, or a reflection of light on a camera lens. However, we do not deny that accidental movement or camera shake could have occurred. In this case, the image of a mysterious luminous object could be blurred, and we are unlikely to know how it really looked."
