In the center of the city of Manchester, located in the north-west of England, eyewitnesses observed an unusual ball hovering among residential buildings.
“My brother and I were driving through the Northern Quarter when I saw a ball of colored lights hanging 10-15 meters to my left,” an eyewitness wrote in a statement to the World UFO Network (MUFON) on January 1, 2017.
The young people stopped the car and managed to take a couple of photographs when the horn of the car following behind them sounded. They were forced to continue moving, and when they turned left to see the unusual ball again, they found nothing.
“We looked down the road where we saw the object, but it disappeared. We were shocked. I took out my phone and we saw that I had captured the object very clearly,”added a shocked local.
According to an eyewitness, the UFO was a hollow sphere about 2 meters in diameter, consisting of round discs painted in bright colors on the outside.
The famous ufologist Scott K. Waring became interested in this unusual UFO, which at first glance looks like a balloon used for advertising purposes.
“This UFO is unique in that it consists of several parts that make up one sphere,” Scott commented on the photo. "I've seen such balls before, only a little smaller."
The ufologist believes that such translucent spheres can be in harmony with almost any environment. But, as soon as they approach the surface of the Earth, they reflect the colors of neighboring objects, as in this case, houses, cars. That is why they can be seen very easily.
