Kevin Bilston, an astronomer based in Red Deer, Canada, was amazed at what he saw during his observation of the sky on Tuesday morning.
He said that, in his opinion, he saw a real UFO, although his colleagues are sure that it was a rocket burning in the atmosphere or a piece of space debris.
The mysterious fireball was bright and flew slowly from west to east. However, he was visible to the naked eye.
Describing the fireball, a resident of Red Deer said that what he saw flew past his house. It had a glowing tail like a comet. But he is sure that it was a UFO, and not an ordinary space body.
Bilston, 60, has been interested in astronomy since he was 16 and has witnessed many comets and meteors, but they usually flew by at night and looked slightly different.
This time, the observation took place in the morning, and the object was clearly visible against the background of a bright blue sky illuminated by the sun's rays.
Kevin noted that more than once he also watched the rockets fall, but this time the object was unlike anything he had seen before.
Be that as it may, Bilston hopes to be lucky enough to see the UFO again and record his sighting on video.
