Given the prevalence of the UFO phenomenon, it is not surprising that public figures such as celebrities or politicians are sometimes faced with unexplained phenomena. Another celebrity who raised the topic of UFOs this week turned out to be Hollywood legend Kurt Russell, who spoke on the BBC channel during a speech on The One Show about his personal meeting with an unidentified flying object (see video below).

Russell appeared on the show with Chris Pratt to introduce the second installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. And when the hosts of the show asked the actors if they believed that aliens were visiting our planet, Pratt replied in the negative. Russell then talked about his strange encounter with a UFO. Russell claims that he and his son Oliver were on their way to visit Oliver's girlfriend and, in flight, noticed a line of lights in the sky.

“I flew with my son to meet his girlfriend. We were on our way when I saw six lights over the airfield, arranged in a V. Oliver said, "Pa, what are these lights?" At that time, I thought about it and replied: “I don't know what it is,” Russell says that he reported this to the airport dispatcher and asked if there were still planes in the sky. The airport radioed in response that their radar systems did not indicate the presence of any aircraft in the area and registered the lights as unidentified.

Several years later, Russell said, his wife Goldie Hawn watched a television documentary about the infamous "Phoenix Lights." When Russell saw the line of lights on the screen, he experienced a strange feeling of déjà vu:

“When I saw them, I felt like Richard Dreyfus from Close Encounters of the Third Degree. I thought, “How do I know about this? It was weird."

Then Russell remembered that he himself had seen the same UFOs. He checked his flight logs and realized that he had completely forgotten to record it. To this day, Russell cannot explain what kind of object they saw that day. And Chris Pratt said to this: "I think this is an amazing story."
