Asteroid 2012 TC4 was discovered in 2012, when it flew at a distance of 94,800 km from Earth, but this time its orbit will pass at a distance of 5,000 km, making it almost inevitable.
The diameter of 2012 TC4 is estimated at 40 meters, which is twice as large as the Chelyabinsk meteorite, so if astronomers are not mistaken in size, there will be no global cataclysm when it hits.
On the other hand, astronomers may be wrong, since they do not see the entire asteroid through a telescope, but only the most brilliant part of it. However, this was not at all what caused concern among the conspiracy theorists.
Among the conspiracy theorists, there are quite a few bored housewives with the formation of some kind of "technical school of culture", nevertheless, there are many professional astronomers among them who, on reflection, could not balance the bulldo in official "science". Therefore, upon learning about 2012 TC4, they immediately delighted everyone with the news that astronomers were officially hiding something bad.
The bad news is that asteroids do not fly one at a time. In fact, small rocks in space are debris from larger objects. The distances between the fragments are far from interstellar and they always hang out next to each other nearby. Therefore, if a rock is flying somewhere in space, it means that another one is tumbling somewhere nearby. Or two. Rather, tens, hundreds, possibly thousands. And if this is the case, then 2012 TC4 is not flying to Earth alone.
Officially astronomers began to publicly taunt the ignorant idiots, began to bend their fingers and say that everything is under control, that they have all the asteroids registered in adobe tables, and there is nothing in these artifacts of Mesopotamia about a collision with the Earth.
However, it somehow coincided that last week astronomers discovered as many as three new asteroids. And they opened without squinting their eyes through a telescope to the Oort cloud, and when these stones whistled near the Earth.

Asteroid 2017 SQ2 was discovered Monday, four days after it traveled 193,000 kilometers above our heads.
Asteroid 2017 SM2 passed us early Wednesday morning at 303,000 kilometers.

Three large asteroids in three days is a bit too much. That is, we are talking about a kind of asteroid field. And since there is another one on the way, most likely this field for four objects is one. And no one knows how many more there are. And what size they are. And what is their trajectory.
