In the new documentary "Exhibition of the remains of a giant man," paleoanthropologist Alexander Belov examines such an interesting issue for our planet as gigantism. Moreover, gigantism is not in terms of disrupting the work of the pituitary gland in individuals, but in the context of various populations of giants that lived and are still found on Earth.
Tall people, reaching two and a half meters, apparently lived on our planet relatively recently, which is why scientists find their skeletons most often, for example, remains in Ecuador, mummies in Texas, burials of real giants in pyramids, and so on. Already much less common are the remains of giants whose height exceeds three to four meters, not to mention gigantopithecus with an increase of over five meters and weighing more than half a ton. This is understandable, since such tall representatives of humanoids lived on Earth several million years ago. Perhaps there were taller people, say, under twenty meters, but finding their skeletons is as difficult as, say, the remains of aliens.
Moreover, as Alexander Belov proves, there are both objective reasons (such people lived a very long time, perhaps hundreds of millions of years ago) and subjective (the bones of giants found at all times were destroyed by the Orthodox, since they did not fit into the once and for all established such pseudoscientists concept of human origin). For example, where did the giant skull of an ancient man found in the Kremlin go? Why in America the remains of giants were massively destroyed for almost two centuries? Where do the bones of the Gigantopithecus go today?..
The film also tells where in our time there are populations of people of enormous growth, which, strange as it may seem, are not at all interested in modern academic science …
